V Wars (netflix movie review)

Saludos cinéfilos, feliz martes para todos ustedes. Anoche por fin he terminado de ver la serie que hoy les voy a decir el visto bueno y malo de toda esta trama que si bien no me encanto, me mantuvo un poco entretenido.

Greetings cinephiles, happy Tuesday to all of you. Last night I finally finished watching the series that today I'm going to tell you the good and bad of this whole plot that although I didn't love it, it kept me a little entertained.

Lo primero que voy a decir es que no la vean, no por el hecho de que sea mala, sino que ahora que he terminado la primera temporada me he enterado que la segunda fue cancelada por netflix dado a la baja audiencia que tuvo, por lo que al parecer la inversión en la producción no fue nada proporcional a los resultados esperados.

The first thing I will say is not to watch it, not because it is bad, but now that I have finished the first season I have learned that the second season was canceled by Netflix due to the low audience it had, so it seems that the investment in production was not proportional to the expected results.

Puedo destacar un poco la idea de figurar una guerra entre los humanos y vampiros de una forma "distinta". Lo digo de esta manera porque acá los no humanos se convirtieron originalmente por un "virus" latente dentro restos en una calavera descubierta.

I can highlight the idea of depicting a war between humans and vampires in a "different" way. I say it this way because here the non-humans were originally converted by a latent "virus" inside remains in an uncovered skull.

Muchas son las cosas que se inventaron luego de la pandemia del Coronavirus, si detallan las primeras escenas de esta serie se darán cuenta que la figura de virus que utilizan cuando en un seminario sobre pandemias y la evolución de los virus, se trata justo del corona.

Luego de dicha escena bastante detallada sobre las posibilidades de la extinción humana, se descubre que uno de los científicos encargado de estudiar ciertos virus, no responde y desaparece, por lo que al dar con el lugar del hecho se encuentran no solo con lo que estaba estudiando esta persona, también con el hecho de que se han contagiado con algún virus desconocido.

After this detailed scene about the possibilities of human extinction, it is discovered that one of the scientists in charge of studying certain viruses, does not respond and disappears, so when they find the place of the fact they find not only with what this person was studying, but also with the fact that they have been infected with some unknown virus.

He aquí cuando el protagonista con su mejor amigo se contagian y son trasladados a un lugar aislado para estar un buen tiempo en cuarentena. Los síntomas son muy comunes a la de algo viral, entre malestar general y vómitos. Ya luego parece ser que nada ha pasado y que solo ha sido un virus común que da en sitios muy fríos.

This is when the protagonist and his best friend become infected and are taken to an isolated place to be quarantined for a long time. The symptoms are very common to that of something viral, between general malaise and vomiting. Later it seems that nothing has happened and that it was just a common virus that occurs in very cold places.

Ambos regresan a su vida normal, lo que menos esperaban es que su vidas cada día cambiara en el caso de uno de ellos, quien empieza a presentar síntomas muy agudos y extraños.

Both return to their normal life, what they least expected is that their lives change every day in the case of one of them, who begins to present very acute and strange symptoms.

Desde el primer punto que se muestra lo que hace realmente el virus los espectadores pueden concluir que se trata de algo que vuelve "vampiros" a las personas, dado a que su deseo de sangre es lo común para ellos como si fuese el alimento y el agua para los seres humanos.

From the first point that shows what the virus really does, viewers can conclude that it is something that turns people into "vampires", since their desire for blood is the common thing for them as if it were food and water for humans.

El problema es que no se sabe todas las formas de propagación y a que grado/cantidad hay de personas infectadas ya que los dos pacientes tuvieron encuentro con sus familiares y amigos posteriormente de la cuarentena y esas mismas personas con otras más.

The problem is that we do not know all the ways it spreads and to what degree/amount of people are infected, since the two patients had encounters with their family and friends after the quarantine and those same people with others.

Otra de las características del virus es que es medio apocalíptico porque los infectados siendo primerizos no pueden controlarse e incluso pueden hacer daño y asesinar a sus familiares y amigos sin recordar absolutamente nada.

Another characteristic of the virus is that it is somewhat apocalyptic because those infected, being first-time infections, cannot control themselves and can even harm and murder their family and friends without remembering anything.

Por supuesto que todo esto trae caos y aquí entra rápidamente una organización que se identifican como la DNS, quienes reclutan al médico compañero del paciente cero, para dar con la cura del virus y por supuesto todos los recursos necesarios que se deben implementar para descubrir y evitar la propagación del mismo.

Of course all this brings chaos and here quickly enters an organization that identify themselves as the DNS, who recruit the fellow doctor of patient zero, to find the cure for the virus and of course all the necessary resources that must be implemented to discover and prevent the spread of the virus.

El problema aquí es que se mezcla un poco el tema político, por lo que hay muchos intereses, traiciones e incluso asesinatos inesperados que cambian las piezas del tablero una y otra vez.

The problem here is that the political theme is mixed a bit, so there are many interests, betrayals and even unexpected murders that change the pieces of the board over and over again.

Una situación no controla lleva a que las personas se desesperen, se van creando facciones de humanos y vampiros; estos últimos se identifican como "Bloods" y buscan de alguna forma convivir con la humanidad aceptando lo que son pero abusando de los poderes que tienen, ya que para la mayoría de ellos asesinar a humanos es la única forma de sobrevivir al hambre.

An uncontrolled situation leads people to despair, factions of humans and vampires are created; the latter identify themselves as "Bloods" and seek to somehow coexist with humanity accepting what they are but abusing the powers they have, since for most of them murdering humans is the only way to survive hunger.

Tal y como es el cliché de los vampiros, la sangre animal no sirve de mucho y sin comer se debilitan a un grado de perder más el control e incluso morir.

As is the cliché of vampires, animal blood is of little use and without food they weaken to a degree of losing more control and even die.

Debido a todo esto, todos buscan la manera de sobrevivir y no dejar que su raza se extinga por lo que muchos grupos de humanos cazan y asesinan familias bloods y viceversa.

Because of all this, everyone is looking for a way to survive and not let their race become extinct so many groups of humans hunt and kill bloods families and vice versa.

En varios intentos por salvar el mundo de una guerra, el doctor Swan descubre cuál es la condición para que un paciente contagiado se convierta en vampiro, un gen que tiene la personas que tienden a sufrir de cardiopatía u algo parecido. Entre ellos su hijo tiene este gen quien también se contagia con el virus, pero de alguna forma no se convierte, por lo que se considera como totalmente inmune.

In several attempts to save the world from a war, Dr. Swan discovers what is the condition for an infected patient to become a vampire, a gene that people who tend to suffer from heart disease or something similar have. Among them his son has this gene who also gets infected with the virus, but somehow does not become, so it is considered as totally immune.

10 son los capítulos de esta primera temporada, con un final de sabor amargo porque deja muchas dudas y lagunas, por lo que será difícil que alguien quede satisfecho de esta primera entrega dado primero que llega un punto en la trama que se vuelve repetitivo y aburrido, y lo otro es que hay cosas que el protagonista que escogieron no era el indicado, no se ve cómodo en el papel, se ve algo sobreactuado, cosa que me parece extraño dado que viene de hacer supernatural.

Ten are the chapters of this first season, with a bitter ending because it leaves many doubts and gaps, so it will be difficult for anyone to be satisfied with this first installment given that first comes a point in the plot that becomes repetitive and boring, and the other thing is that there are things that the protagonist they chose was not the right one, he does not look comfortable in the role, he looks somewhat overacted, which seems strange to me given that he comes from doing supernatural.

No recomiendo en nada esta serie, más que solo verla si no tienes nada que hacer, es como el relleno de un buen dorama, interesante pero quieres ver las mejores partes nada más.

I don't recommend this series at all, more than just watching it if you have nothing to do, it's like the filler of a good dorama, interesting but you want to see the best parts only.
