The film Luca is a distinctive production from pixar studio that takes us on a magical journey to an enchanting coastal world in italy where the film offer a wonderful experience that expresses friendship and courage in addition to overcoming fear.
The story of the movie
The film's events take place in a small fishing village on the Italian coast where human chameleons live underwater and the film focuses on the friendship betwen Luca and Alberto two young chameleons who dream of going out into the land and exploring the world and they hide their true identity from humans for fear of dealing with what they fear which is the monster.
When Luca and Alberto meet a human girl named Julia who encourage them to participate in a race between humans and chameleons an amazing adventure begin and luca and alberto must overcome their phobia and fear of others and the outside world.
Movie features
as we've come to expect from a Pixar film Luca give us great graphic quality and detail and the Italian marine world is shown with bright colors and incredible beauty and this is what we love to see.
Friendship and personal growth display the power of friendship and how friends can support each other in overcoming life challenges and the film encourage openess and tolerance and overcoming the fear of strangers.
Film disadvantages
some may feel that events are progressing relatively quickly which can make some detail seem incomplete and feel that they have missed some things in the movie but this did not happen due to the acceleration of events at times.
The film seems to be mainly directed to a younger audience but it contains message that reach all ages hence I believe that the film is suitable for all ages but older people may not see it well enough due to many childish scenes.
Ultimately, “Luca” is a charming film that takes you on a journey of friendship and courage and It is a fun experience for families and friends and displays positive messages that stay with you after watching it.
