💫 Annihilation 💫 / My opinion about this film [ENG-ESP].
I had been watching this film for some time in small chunks, for some reason I never finished watching it, until one afternoon I came across it again and finally finished watching it.
This is a film in which I have mixed emotions hehe, because on the one hand I liked it in a way, but certain aspects not so much. I have the tendency to post everything I like in almost its totality, but in this occasion it's not the case, I was a bit unsatisfied with some things really.
One of the reasons why I started watching it was because of the excellent actress Nathalie Portman, since most of her films in which she has participated she has a great performance, it was the first thing that caught my attention, since seeing her acting in a film, we will get a great story and performance.
Another was that when I read the summary and saw the trailer, I saw that it belongs to the science fiction genre that I like so much. It looks like an apocalyptic story. where the protagonist manages to survive such an eminent disaster and no one explains it to her. On top of all this there is an eminent suspense, terror and mystery, which makes you want to watch it.
Tenía tiempo viendo esta película por pedazos pequeños, por algún motivo nunca la terminaba de ver, hasta que una tarde me volví a encontrar con ella y terminé de verla por fin.
Este es un film en el cual tengo emociones encontradas jeje, porque por un lado me gusto en cierta forma, pero ciertos aspectos no tantos. Tengo la tendencia de publicar todo lo que me gusta en casi su totalidad, pero en esta ocasión no es el caso, quede un poco inconforme con algunas cosas realmente.
Unas de los motivos por el cual empecé a verla fue por la excelente actriz Nathalie Portman, ya que las mayoría de sus películas en las que ha participado realiza una gran actuación , fue lo primero que llamo mi atención, ya que que al verla a ella actuando en una película , obtendremos una gran historia y actuación.
Otra fue que al leer el resumen y ver el tráiler , vi que pertenece al género de ciencia ficción que tanto me gusta . Parece una historia apocalíptica. donde la protagonista logra sobrevivir a tan eminente desastre y nadie se lo explica. Además de todo esto se le agrega un eminente suspenso, terror y misterio, que te hace querer verla.

It all begins with biologist Lena, who is saddened by the loss of her husband. She keeps remembering the happy times they lived together, she doesn't understand how he is gone, she doesn't understand how he left so suddenly. Her husband, a soldier in the army, went on a mission more than a year ago and never showed up. Lena searched for him without ceasing, until the army gave him up for dead.
One day something strange happened, while Lena was at home, remodeling an area of her home trying to get her life back, someone she never expected to return appeared, it was none other than her husband Kane. Lena couldn't believe her eyes, and joy invaded her being. But something was wrong with her husband, he wasn't himself, he had a blank look on his face. She began to ask him what had happened, but he didn't know what had happened and how he had gotten there.
A very strange situation for her, since she thought he was dead and also that he did not give an explanation of what happened was very strange. But the strangest things started to happen, when suddenly while talking to her, Kane started to feel sick and suddenly collapsed. Lena didn't know what was going on, but intuitively helped him and called an ambulance.
Todo comienza con la Bióloga Lena, la cual esta triste por la pérdida de su esposo. Se la pasa recordando los felices momentos que vivieron juntos, no entiende como no esta, no comprende como se fue tan de repente. Su esposo siendo soldado del ejercito fue a una misión hace más de un año y no aparecía . Lena lo busco sin Cesar , hasta que el ejercito lo dio por muerto .
Un día paso algo extraño, estando Lena en su casa , remodelando un área de su hogar tratando de recuperar su vida, apareció alguien que ella jamás espero que regresara, era nada mas y nada menos que su esposo Kane. Lena no podía creer lo que veían sus ojos , y la alegría invadió su ser. Pero algo pasaba con su esposo no era el mismo, tenía una mirada perdida. Ella empezó a preguntarle que había pasado, pero él no sabía que había pasado y como había llegado allí.
Una situación muy extraña para ella , ya que lo daba por muerto y además que el no diera explicación de lo que paso es algo muy raro . Pero las cosas mas extrañas empezaron a ocurrir , cuando de repente al estar hablando con ella Kane empezó a sentirse mal y al colapso de repente. Lena no sabia que ocurría , pero intuitivame lo auxilio y llamo una ambulancia.
On the way to the hospital Kane was not getting any better, and suddenly the ambulance was intercepted by a strange patrol car. Lena wanted to run away but was caught, and when she was injected with a substance she was knocked unconscious. When Lena woke up she was in a very strange place, like a military base, frightened she looked for her husband and when she found him, she saw that he was in a very bad state, subject to some machines that helped him to stay alive.
Not understanding what is happening, she looks for an answer and Dr. Ventress explains the situation to her. Lena's husband was the only survivor of a very dangerous mission, where they had to enter a strange region. This event occurred because of a strange glow that originated from a lantern on a beach, which covered a whole region, forming a dome, which they called "area x" and when they entered there they lost all communication with the outside world and no one had left alive, only Kane.
Via al hospital Kane no mejoraba, y de repente la ambulancia fue interceptada por una extraña patrulla . Lena quiso huir pero fue atrapada , y al inyectarle una sustancia quedo inconsciente. Al despertar Lena se encontraba en un sitio muy extraño , como en una base militar , asustada busca a su esposo y al encontrarlo , observa que está en muy mal estado , sujeto a unas máquinas que lo ayudan a seguir con vida.
Sin entender lo que está pasando busca respuesta y la doctora Ventress le explica la situación. El esposo de Lena fue el único sobreviviente de una misión muy peligrosa, en donde se tenían que adentrar a un extraña región. Este evento ocurrio por un extraño resplandor que se origino en un farol en una playa, el cual cubrió toda una región , formando un domo , la cual llamaron” el área x “ y al entrar allí se perdía toda comunicación con el mundo exterior y nadie había salido vivo solo Kane.
Knowing all this and that Dr. Ventress was planning a mission to a certain region, Lena wanted to join a certain mission to find answers about what happened to her husband. And so begins the adventure through Area X, an otherworldly region, full of many mysteries and dangers, which draws the viewer into a constant suspense and the emergence of many unknowns to be solved.
Al saber todo esto y que la doctora Ventress planificaba realizar una misión a determinada región , Lena quiso unirse a determinada misión para encontrar respuesta sobre lo ocurrido a su esposo. Y así empieza la aventura a través del área X , una región de otro mundo, llena de muchos misterios y peligros , que adentra al espectador a un suspenso constante y surgimiento de muchas incógnitas por resolver.

The first thing I will do will be a flattering comment hehe as this film visually is very impressive, really the recreation of landscapes and scenes was excellent, they managed to bring that air of science fiction and terror of which the story is about. The colours and special effects were very well done, you could really get into that strange, mysterious, terrifying and sometimes beautiful world of the X-area.
The acting of Natalie Portman as Lena and the other leads such as Jennifer Jason Leigh (Dr. Ventress), Gina Rodriguez (Anya Thorensen), Tessa Thompson (Josie) and Tuva Novotny (Cassie Sheppard) was really excellent as they manage to emotionally engage the viewer and take you into the unreal world of Area X.
Lo primero que haré será un comentario halagador jeje ya que este film visualmente es muy impresionante , realmente la recreación de paisajes y escenas fue excelentes , lograron llevar ese aire de ciencia ficción y terror del cual trata la historia . Los colores y los efectos especiales estuvieron muy bien logrados , realmente podías meterte en ese extraño, misterioso , terrorífico y a veces hermoso mundo del área X.
La actuación de la Natalie Portman como Lena y de las demás protagonista como Jennifer Jason Leigh (doctora Ventress), Gina Rodriguez (Anya Thorensen) , Tessa Thompson (Josie) y Tuva Novotny (Cassie Sheppard) fue realmente excelente ya que logran captar emocionalmente al espectador y llevarte a ese mundo irreal del área X.
As for the adaptation of the original book to the script of the film, I was honestly a little disappointed and especially when I started reading the origin sagas. I can really understand that they wanted to make a single story out of the 3 books by Jeff VanderMeer, but I think they moved away from the original story, omitting many important details and adding others, which ended up giving the film a somewhat disappointing denouement that leaves much to be desired.
In my opinion the original story had a lot of potential to make a more daring and different story than the one presented on the big screen. Actually I started reading the books and I was more disappointed than I was hehehe, especially the ending so trivial and expected.
If I would have to give a score to this film it would be 7/10, because although the story catches you in many moments for its suspense, acting and setting, the story is not as good as expected, especially the ending, but if you like science fiction and horror together, it is a good option to enjoy a good time.
En cuanto a la adaptación del libro original al guion del film, sinceramente me decepciono un poco y sobre todo cuando empece a leer las sagas de origen. Realmente puedo entender que quisieron hacer una sola historia de los 3 libros de Jeff VanderMeer , pero creo que se alejaron de la historia original , omitiendo muchos detalles importantes y agregando otros , que terminaron dándole a la película un desenlace algo decepcionante y que da mucho que desear.
En mi opinión la historia original tenía bastante potencial para hacer una historia más arriesgada y diferente que la presentada en la gran pantalla. Realmente yo empecé a leer los libros y me decepcione más de lo que estaba jejeje, sobre todo el final tan trivial y esperado.
Si le tendría que dar una puntuación a esta película seria 7/10 , ya que a pesar que la historia te atrapa en muchos instante por su suspenso, actuación de protagonista y ambientación , la historia no es tan buena como esperábamos, sobre todo su final , pero si te gusta la ciencia ficción y el terror juntos , es una buena opción para disfrutar un buen rato.
