Those who have seen DC superhero films with dark and gloomy nuances may find this film unappealing. This is a film about DC superheroes, but what I see differs from depictions in Batman, Superman, and other films. Who knows what would happen if Blue Beetle joined the other DC superheroes?

Blue Beetle appears to be a film aimed at teenagers and children. Full of hilarious and entertaining scenes. The dialogue is light as if to imply that you won't have to think hard while watching this film. I'm not sure if the introduction of this character to the ranks of DCEU superheroes is truly intended to capture the attention of adolescent audiences.

Blue Beetle follows the standard plot of introducing a superhero in general. Specifically, an ordinary person who gains unexpected superpowers. Jamie Reyes (Xolo Mariduena) is a scholar desperate to save his family and the environment from financial ruin. That is what motivated him to look for work. However, unforeseen events force him to obtain an alien artifact known as SCARAB. Unexpectedly, the scarab possessed him, transforming him into a blue superhero.

This superhero reminds me of Spiderman after he was possessed by an alien. because the scarab considers Jamie to be its symbiotic host. The design is also reminiscent of the All blue Spiderman. After seeing the film, I have several criticisms of it. Of course, if you plan to watch Blue Beetle, written by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer, this may be of interest to you as well.

The plot appears to be light, humorous, and predictable. Because the introduction of this character is similar to that of a typical superhero film, it is very standard. Specifically, he transforms from an ordinary human to a superhero, gaining strength and beginning to recognize his new identity as a superhero. It's just that, while most superheroes conceal their identities, Blue Beetle does not. Even the villain is aware of Blue Beetle's multiple identities, including those of his entire family.
Vicky Kord: Go after the family!

The Reyes family dynamics certainly color this film, but I see that this element of humor is emphasized more and even crosses the line. The Latin family's joy is brought more than the conflict of truth versus evil. Everyone in the family serves a purpose and brings joy. It's just that if the main idea of a superhero film is family ties, the Shazam! film does a better job of presenting that idea. So, if you're looking for a serious superhero film, you'll be disappointed with this one.

Khaji-Da: I can make anything you can think of. But, seriously?
There is nothing that distinguishes him from other superheroes other than his blue costume and the ability to fly due to alien powers, so you may become bored. Because there is no imagination, the main character and villain are uninteresting. Of course, the villain's costumes and characteristics also have an impact on your memory. However, the villain's personality is no different from the others. What is shown is the commissioner of an evil company (Susan Sarandon) who controls a cyber army, and the villain realizes at the end of the film.

In general, you're watching a superhero film aimed at teenagers and children. And can be viewed during weekends with family.

When compared to other DCEU superheroes, he is unsuitable. According to other articles I've read, this is a DC film that failed to break through at the box office.

I was bored by the movie. However, everyone's tastes differ; perhaps this film will appeal to you if you decide to watch it. Or perhaps I'm too old and no longer suit superhero tastes like the blue beetle genre.

Excelente post!
