WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE ONE SUPERHERO ISN'T ENOUGH | ETERNALS (2021)

All of the images in this post were taken directly from the film.

One of my favorite aspects of watching Marvel movies is how realistic the characters are. Ordinary people who have accidents or incidents and then gain strength, try to learn their strengths, and have worries and conflicts as humans are the characters shown. Although it has advantages, it also has disadvantages. Even though the Marvel characters are superheroes, they are still human beings like us.

However, despite being part of the MCU, the image of ordinary humans does not appear in the film ETERNALS, as I explained above. Why? because this film tells the story of a character who is similar to a god and possesses unique abilities. They are no longer characters who are just discovering their newfound abilities. However, the Eternals are characters who are already aware of their respective strengths. This film introduces more than one, two, or three characters. However, ten characters stand out as the story's highlights. Those who have read the comic may find it easier to follow each character. However, for those who have only recently seen it, it will work hard at the start of the film.

Ten characters are too many for a viewer like me. A film with too many main characters will lose its deep emotional connection with the audience. It's like being presented with a parade of characters with superhuman abilities. Perhaps this film is a debut for comic characters who are closely related to mythology. For instance, Thena, resembles the Greek goddess of war, Athena. Other characters include Ikaris from Icarus, Sersi, who resembles Circe, and others. As a result, there are so many characters that the audience cannot fully explore them in the 156-minute film.

The plot and story of the film are about Eternals who are assigned the task of killing Deviant creatures. And in the meantime, the Eternals separated and mingled with human life. However, after being separated for a long time, a group of Deviants reappeared and began to threaten the human population. This is what forces the Eternals to reassemble for the Deviants, who are becoming more dangerous than before. However, this is where the conflict arises between the Eternals, the Deviants and their task givers, the Eternals' creators. Were they successful?

However, the depiction of the characters in this film has cool cinematography. Of course, with a cast full of well-known actors and actresses. Aside from that, the action scenes are very classy and up to the standards of the Marvel films that we frequently see. Even though the Eternal film is filled with action and conflict, several moments make us laugh. As a result, it refreshes the atmosphere. Regarding the storyline, I felt it lacked focus, which made it difficult to remember. And, to understand clearly, you must search the internet once more to find out why this is so and so.

My final response is that, while ETERNALS is different from previous MCU films, it is still a good film to watch. Despite widespread criticism from film critics, the audience's reaction to this film has been positive. The criticism may stem from the fact that this film's colors differ from those seen in previous Marvel films. However, there is great potential to introduce the audience to every shop in this film. Each of the many characters may get their own stage to introduce themselves through their respective films.

I saw this movie with my mom and we didn't like it, it was entertaining yes, but I was fantabulous. I expected something more from this film, but your post was very good!
