Hi guys,

Welcome to my blog for another entry into the hive learners weekly topics. This is my entry into a topic about hygiene and neatness.

For some time now I've been thinking about perfumes. I say this in a judgemental way lol. First of all, incase you didn't know, I am one of the people who doesn't like perfumes. Not that I dont like how they smell but I generally don't have interest in using them. If it's available I would use it but if its not I am good to go. Well, this was how I was on the past.

In the past I'd prefer coming out dressed with no smell at all. I mean, having a way I smelt wasn't part of my way of life as far as I didnt smell bad. I will use doesn't before going out but apart from that I didn't apply any extra perfumes to smell extra. Now I want to buy perfumes. All of a sudden I want to smell a certain type of way when I go out.

I sometimes feel like social media, especially X(formally twitter) has influenced me a lot on tbis decision of mine. Moving from not liking perfumes to then wanting to own a couple of them is insane actually. But then I domt regard myself as a perfume freak. Before I'll turn into one I'll need to have money to be thag perfume freak. The thing is I like gadgets and I'd rather use that money to get a couple of gadgets than buy a couple of perfumes. But I also believe as soon as you start then there's no going back.

I was talking to a female friend recently about how much i like Eni. She was wondering why I liked him and all I said was I like his level of neatness. For someone like that I believe he does it effortlessly or it takes a lot to be that type of way. Don't get me wrong, neatness is not difficult to understand and do but Eni's type of neatness is on a different level. We can first of all attribute it to having money. But then I can again counter my own point and say its not all about having money.

Being neat or looking neat has nothing to do with having money and one can achieve that by paying attention to him or herself a little more. I remember in senior high school I used to have this colleague who always seemed to look a little extra for class. He didn't wear any thing out of the normal but its just that he paid extra attention to the things to wore.

He made sure he ironed his clothes well with lines showing here and there. Those little lines which a lot of people thought was a waste of time was one of the reasons why he looked extra neat.

And it was with simple outfits like all of us used. Being neat takes time and if you are someone who isn't used to it, it takes time. You'll need to pay attention and be committed to be that way.

I for one believe that the kind of area you stay in determines the level of your neatness. If you're in an area where they litter about, you automatically get used to that type of lifestyle even without knowing. The same is true for vice versa. If you are s clean freak from the onset being in that kind of area will frustrate the hell out of you.

I do believe that money to a certain extent influences how we look. For some people, being broke makes it even hard for them to have decent clothes so buying new clothes or fixing the old ones becomes a problem.

So today an extent it can but most part of neatness depend on you the individual.
