Exterritorial - A German Action Classic

Hi movie lovers,

Here I am with another movie review for your sweet sweet eyes. Yesterday I watched a movie titled exterritorial. When you hear the word exterritorial, you immediately think one thing which is action.

I think I’ve said it before that I don’t fancy action movies for a particular reason which is they are predictable. Yes, we do have all the action in it but then you know how it’s going to finish. Even at times when it seems like the main character have been defeated they miraculously make a come back and this is the situation for most movies that I have come across. There are a few times where the “perceived” villain wins at the end but this happens in 1 in a billion movies.

I think the only movie where I was particularly not happy about the ending was See. See is a movie series by apple which ended in a way I didn’t expect. Again I think it was unnecessary to end that way as well.

That’s just by the way. I am not here to talk about see though. Today I’ll be reviewing a movie titled exterritorial like I said before. Exterritorial sounds similar to exterminator or something of that sort.

Exterritorial is a German movie which was released a few weeks ago. Exterritorial is a movie about an ex military soldier who has bad memories from her old job.

She was a soldier who went on a peace keeping mission and ended up loosing her self in that mission. After the mission she had to retire cause she developed PTSD. This movie is mainly about this ex solder who looks or seeks a for a job in the US as a security specialist and after getting the job she has to seek a work visa at the embassy to be able to stay in the US with her son.

Her visit to the embassy is where her nightmare starts as her past which she seems to be having trouble forgetting comes back to haunt her and her son.

Exterritorial was written and directed by Christian Zubert.

Exterritorial is one of this movies where you instantly know that there’ll be a lot of action in it from the onset. The opening scene starts with some action.

This is one of those movies where you really don’t know most of the actors but then you know they’ve done a pretty good job with the movie. Since it’s a German movie I think it’s only normal that you might not know most of the cast in there and that’s that. For me I think the lead role played her role so well that it didn’t look like a face i've not seen on screen before. There are times when you actually see an actor in his strides and just know that this role he or she is playing doesn’t suit him or her that well.

This is one of those movies that I downloaded from net naija. This one was just one of those movies that I happened to chance upon after visiting the site after a couple of days.

I’ve said it time without number that I don’t enjoy action movies cause they are predictable most of the time. This was one of those movies but then I did enjoy it. I’ll rate this a 7/10. Am sure others will rate it higher especially for people who love action movies.
