Hi guys,

Welcome to my blog for another weeknof exciting spl content. First of all, I'll like to say that the market has been going crazy. Usually this time of the year is not a good one for tokens and I think this time round things wont change as well. I know that a lot of people have lost their money but then I think for spot traders there's not much of a panic. Just wait it out and we will be fine in the long run. As other tokens are falling I think sps I holding up well even know I wouldn't want it to be where it is at the moment.

But comparatively its doing really well. For the past 2 weeks ive not been able to write any spl content. I don't have a great excuse as its just been procrastination upon procrastination. For hive, I seem to have lost my touch and I'll need to get back to writing soonest. But for now I want to take thing slows and at least ve consistent when it comes to spl posts.

For the past few weeks there has been a lot of changes that has come to spl. First of all there has been a UI change and one of my favorite things about the UI change is the battle page. Its not a dull color anymore but it looks really nice. For me, out of all the UI changes this is one that I was instantly attracted to after seeing it.

There has been a few changes as well which are mostly just UI fixes. Id also like to add music but I don't seem to know how to do it. If you can help me out please comment below.

So let's get into it. Today for the spl social media challenge I'll be writing about a recent battle like I usually do for most of my social media content. This is a very recent battle and I'll like to talk about it and maybe put a few suggestions on how to navigate a ruleset like this if you have similar cards.

So when the season ended I was taken to gold. In this encounter I was matched with a great opponent. What I mean by a great opponent is he or she has a lot of great cards which can compete with my cards as well.

So let's see how it went. In this particular game it was just 2 rulesets. I actually cannot remember the last time I played a game with 2 rulesets. Its always been 3 but well let's get into the rulesets.

The first one being heavy metal. This means you can only summon armored units. What this also means is that when selecting your cards you only have the option of seeing and being able to choose cards which have armor. If those cards don't naturally come with armor then you can't use them.

The next ruleset being target practice. What this means is that all units with magic and range attacks have snipe. So it means they target the first non melee cards in battle.

With rulesets like this its alwyas advisable to go for less range and less magic cards. Not to say you shouldn't add magic or range cards to your line up, but you should put way less of them. At some point I will advice that one goes for magic cards which have relect and then range cards which have return fire as well. In my case I went for one magic and 2 cards with range attack.

For my summoner i went for risqruel drath. If you've read most of my posts about battles you realize I like using this particular summoner.

For my cards I went for dry bone megalodon, chaos golem, nalara geink, ordium graybrow, molten elemental, and rush Townsend.

The match went as far as round 6. It was a fierce battle but I won at the end. You can watch the battle through the link here.
