¡¡Qué tal, gente!! En esta ocasión estoy un poco emocionado porque al fin logro ver la serie de The Last of Us, una serie a la cual le tenía muchas desde el día que se anunció pero que no había tenido la oportunidad de disfrutarla por diversos motivos. Hace unos días, al fin comienzo a ver la serie y vaya que es mucho más de lo que esperaba, así que decidí compartirles mi opinión de la serie haciendo reseñas de los capítulos hasta que la termine y al final daré mi opinión general sobre la serie en sí.

This time I'm a little excited because I finally get to see the series of The Last of Us, a series to which I had many since the day it was announced but had not had the opportunity to enjoy it for various reasons. A few days ago, I finally start watching the series and it is much more than I expected, so I decided to share my opinion of the series by reviewing the chapters until I finish it and at the end I will give my general opinion about the series itself.
Como les acabo de decir, iré haciendo reseñas de cada dos capítulos, la serie consta de 8 episodios y queda perfecto para ir compartiendo de dos en dos. En esta ocasión hablaremos sobre mis impresiones y demás detalles del episodio 1 y 2. Pero antes de que todo primero es lo primero, y lo primero es saber de qué va The Last of Us, quizás la mayoría ya lo sepa pero siempre hay personas que no (Me incluyo, muchas veces me lanzo a la primera a ver las cosas sin saber de qué van, juzgando únicamente por la portada xd).
The Last of Us, cuenta la historia de Joel, uno de nuestros protagonistas, y cómo éste debe hacerse cargo de una adolescente que es inmune al virus que casi acaba con la humanidad desde hace 20 años. Joel se ve en la misión de llevar a Ellie, la otra protagonista, con un grupo que está capacitado para encontrar una cura al virus Cordyceps ya que Ellie resulta ser inmune, y así es cómo inicia y el detonante para el desarrollo de esta historia.
As I just told you, I'll be reviewing every two episodes, the series consists of 8 episodes and it's perfect to share them two by two. This time we will talk about my impressions and other details of episode 1 and 2. But before everything first things first, and the first thing is to know what The Last of Us is about, maybe most of you already know it but there are always people who don't (I include myself, many times I jump at the first time to see things without knowing what they are about, judging only by the cover xd).
The Last of Us, tells the story of Joel, one of our protagonists, and how he must take care of a teenager who is immune to the virus that almost wiped out humanity 20 years ago. Joel is on a mission to take Ellie, the other protagonist, to a group that is able to find a cure for the Cordyceps virus since Ellie happens to be immune, and this is how it starts and the trigger for the development of this story.
La serie está basada en el videojuego desarrollado por Naughty Dog, sigue exactamente la misma, es un live action después de todo, aunque dentro de los live action que rondan hoy en día éste, por el momento, pinta bastante bien. La serie en estos dos primero capítulos nos regala una de las mejores introducciones posibles en capítulos de series (según mi opinión), el episodio 1 prácticamente comienza en una especie de entrevista donde se habla de virus mortales, hasta que uno de los personajes toca el tema del Cordyceps y lo que podría pasar si este hongo afectara a la humanidad, dándonos una especie de introducción a todo lo que se viene a continuación. El episodio 2 por su parte, nos narra los acontecimientos del descubrimiento del hongo en seres humanos en el lugar que fue mencionado en el primer capítulo, Indonesia, simplemente bien hecho, no tengo más que agregar.
The series is based on the video game developed by Naughty Dog, it follows exactly the same, it is a live action after all, although within the live action that roam today this one, for the moment, looks pretty good. The series in these first two chapters gives us one of the best possible introductions in series chapters (in my opinion), episode 1 practically begins in a kind of interview where they talk about deadly viruses, until one of the characters touches the subject of Cordyceps and what could happen if this fungus affects humanity, giving us a kind of introduction to everything that comes next. Episode 2 narrates the events of the discovery of the fungus in humans in the place that was mentioned in the first chapter, Indonesia, simply well done, I have nothing more to add.
El ritmo de los capítulos debo decir que es intermedio, no avanza lento ni mucho menos rápido, mantiene su ritmo, si tuviste la oportunidad de probar el videojuego a lo mejor estés como yo, a la expectativa de ver a los actores que eligieron y su interpretación acerca de los personajes, de ver los grandes escenarios destruidos por todo el caos que generó el virus y cómo escuche en un vídeo hace un tiempo “De ver como la naturaleza lentamente reclama lo que le pertenece”, ver la forma en la que adaptaron del mundo del videojuego a la serie simplemente fascina y te deja con ganas de ver más.
Por el contrario, si no tuviste la oportunidad de probar el videojuego, estos capítulos cumplen con la función de mantenerte atrapado en lo próximo que irá a suceder y cómo nuestros protagonistas se las arreglan para sobrevivir. Un detalle que me gusta de los capítulos es que al final dan una especie de behind the scenes y todo el proceso creativo de los directores y creadores del videojuego y cómo quisieron adaptar la historia para serie, y sí, cuentan con algunas diferencias en cuanto al videojuego pero lo hacen tan bien que cada cambio te deja satisfecho, por lo menos en estos dos primeros episodios ya veremos que acontece con los próximos.
The rhythm of the chapters I must say that it is intermediate, it doesn't advance slow or fast, it maintains its rhythm, if you had the opportunity to try the videogame maybe you are like me, waiting to see the actors they chose and their interpretation of the characters, to see the great scenarios destroyed by all the chaos generated by the virus and as I heard in a video some time ago “To see how nature slowly reclaims what belongs to it”, to see the way in which they adapted the world of the video game to the series simply fascinates and leaves you wanting to see more.
On the contrary, if you didn't have the chance to try the videogame, these chapters fulfill the function of keeping you trapped in what is going to happen next and how our protagonists manage to survive. A detail that I like about the chapters is that at the end they give a kind of behind the scenes and the whole creative process of the directors and creators of the video game and how they wanted to adapt the story to series, and yes, they have some differences in terms of the video game but they do it so well that each change leaves you satisfied, at least in these first two episodes and we will see what happens with the next ones.
De momento me aguantaré y no se las recomendaré, prefiero esperar a mi opinión final para hablar a detalle sobre la serie ya que pienso que tiene mucho para aportar en sus próximos capítulos, y como les dije, deseo ver cómo terminan de adaptar el videojuego con su toque original en la serie, hasta el momento todo va marchando bien en este live action y espero que siga así ¡¡Hasta una próxima reseña!!
For now I will hold off and I will not recommend it, I prefer to wait for my final opinion to talk in detail about the series because I think it has much to contribute in the next chapters, and as I said, I want to see how they finish adapting the video game with its original touch in the series, so far everything is going well in this live action and I hope it continues like that!
