La Película de Batman Mejor Creada en la Historia
¡¡Hey, qué tal gente!! Espero que todos se encuentren excelentemente bien, en esta ocasión volvemos con una review de una de mis películas favoritas (aunque que ya sepan cuál es por culpa de la portada y el titulo) y que sin duda se ganó un lugar en mi top 5 de películas. Batman es un personaje que, al igual que mucho de ustedes, crecieron viendo Spider-Man, por ejemplo, me acompañó durante mi niñez y adolescencia en cuanto a entretenimiento y es por eso que está vez he decido hacerle una reseña a lo que para mí es la mejor adaptación del murciélago en la gran pantalla.
The Best Created Batman Movie in History
Hey, what's up people!!! I hope everyone is feeling great, this time we are back with a review of one of my favorite movies (although you already know which one it is because of the cover and the title) and that undoubtedly earned a place in my top 5 movies. Batman is a character that, like many of you, grew up watching Spider-Man, for example, accompanied me during my childhood and adolescence in terms of entertainment and that is why this time I have decided to review what for me is the best adaptation of the bat on the big screen.

Esta película del murciélago nos coloca en los zapatos de un Batman que apenas se está haciendo un lugar en ciudad Gótica, con dos años como vigilante, Bruce explora la corrupción que existe en la ciudad y la conexión que esta tiene con su familia, al mismo tiempo que se enfrenta con Riddler, un asesino en serie que lo desafiara y lo pondrá a prueba.
Me atrevería a decir que The Batman es la película definitiva del murciélago, explorando su faceta más importante, o por lo menos para mí, aspecto que en anteriores entregas se dejaba en un segundo plano o directamente no se exploraba. La película dura casi tres horas, pero puedo decir con total seguridad que vale cada minuto y segundo que la compone, ¿es fácil de ver? Quizás para algunos no pero para los más fans, o ciudadano promedio que relativamente le guste el personaje, no se le hará una película pesada, después de todo, dos horas y cincuenta minutos no son poca cosa.
First things first, and the first thing is to know what The Batman is about. This bat movie puts us in the shoes of a Batman who is just making a place for himself in Gotham, with two years as a vigilante, Bruce explores the corruption that exists in the city and the connection it has with his family, while facing Riddler, a serial killer who will challenge and test him.
I would dare to say that The Batman is the definitive movie of the bat, exploring his most important facet, or at least for me, an aspect that in previous installments was left in the background or not explored at all. The film lasts almost three hours, but I can say with total certainty that it is worth every minute and second that composes it, is it easy to watch? Maybe not for some, but for the most fans, or the average citizen who relatively likes the character, it will not be a heavy movie, after all, two hours and fifty minutes is no small thing.
SourceLa película se toma su tiempo, da por hecho que ya sabemos quién es Bruce Wayne y por qué es Batman, lo cual le da más oportunidad a la trama principal y no pierde el tiempo explicando sus orígenes ni nada por el estilo, lo cual es un gran punto a favor en esta adaptación del m murciélago. Digo que la película se toma su tiempo porque no es nos coloque al frente de una montaña rusa de emociones y con pausas a lo largo de la misma, si no que va a su ritmo y mete acción cuando es necesario generando un balance en el ritmo.
Aunque que diga que va a su tiempo también puede ser un gran punto en contra ya que si no tienes el más mínimo interés en verla dudo mucho que llegues a la mitad, lo digo porque estuve en ambos lados y verla con interés es un punto que tiene mucho juego en la película. No porque sea mi adaptación favorita del murciélago todo tiene que ser color de rosas, también tiene sus cosas un tanto cuestionables.
The movie takes its time, it takes for granted that we already know who Bruce Wayne is and why he is Batman, which gives more opportunity to the main plot and does not waste time explaining his origins or anything like that, which is a big plus in this adaptation of the bat. I say that the movie takes its time because it doesn't put us in front of a roller coaster of emotions and pauses throughout the movie, but it goes at its own pace and puts in action when it's necessary generating a balance in the rhythm.
Although the fact that it says it's on time can also be a big point against it because if you don't have the slightest interest in watching it I doubt you'll make it half way through, I say this because I was on both sides and watching it with interest is a point that has a lot of play in the film. Not because it is my favorite adaptation of the bat everything has to be roses, it also has its somewhat questionable things.
SourceVisualmente es una joya, The Batman adopta ese tono gótico y muchas veces lúgubre que te imaginarias que tendría una película del personaje, lo puedes observar en el diseño de algunos edificios siendo estos puntiagudos tan característicos en historias del mismo tono, la mansión Wayne es el más claro ejemplo de esto. Cada vez que tenemos a Batman en pantalla (la mayor parte de la película) logra infundir ese miedo tan distintivo del personaje y te puedes dar cuenta de esto en las interpretaciones de los personajes a los cuales Batman tiene que enfrentarse.
Si a nivel actoral nos referimos nos encontramos con grandes personas como Colin Farrell haciendo un excelente trabajo como el pingüino, de no ser por google y su información jamás se me habría cruzado por la mente que él interpretaba al pingüino dándonos un excelente trabajo del personaje y completamente irreconocible debido al maquillaje. Diría que Paul Dano es la estrella en esta película haciendo una interpretación de Riddler bastante realista y acorde a los tiempos que corren hoy en día, no he visto ninguna material adicional pero puedo decir que al menos, hablando de la pantalla grande, es el segundo mejor villano de Batman en la pantalla.
Visually it is a gem, The Batman adopts that gothic and often gloomy tone that you would imagine a movie of the character would have, you can see it in the design of some buildings being these pointed so characteristic in stories of the same tone, Wayne Manor is the clearest example of this. Every time we have Batman on screen (most of the movie) he manages to instill that fear so distinctive of the character and you can realize this in the interpretations of the characters Batman has to face.
If we refer to the acting level we find great people like Colin Farrell doing an excellent job as the penguin, if it wasn't for google and its information I would have never crossed my mind that he was playing the penguin giving us an excellent job of the character and completely unrecognizable due to the makeup. I would say that Paul Dano is the star in this movie doing a pretty realistic Riddler interpretation in keeping with today's times, I haven't seen any additional footage but I can say that at least, talking about the big screen, he is the second best Batman villain on screen.
SourceObviamente sin menospreciar a los demás actores que de igual manera no se quedan atrás, Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Warifght y John Turturro, cada uno dándole su toque personal al personaje que interpretan y haciendo buena química con Robert Pattinson, nuestro Batman en esta ocasión. Siendo sincero no le tenía mucha fe a Pattinson cuando se anunció que iba a ser el nuevo Batman pero he de admitir que me dejó con la boca cerrada en su interpretación, quizás a muchos no les haya gustado este Batman/Bruce Wayne por ser muy “emo” pero en mi opinión en una buena interpretación para la forma en la que lo está llevando Matt Reeves.
La banda sonora de la película está a otro nivel, de la mano de Michael Giacchino, tenemos un tema que acompaña a Batman cada que entra en escena, tiene muchas similitud el tema de Dark Vader y es que parece como si estuvieras presenciando la entrada en un ente imparable que hará lo necesario para conseguir su objetivo. La forma en la que Batman hace acto de presencia o se acerca lentamente (como en el caso de la escena del batimovil), como sus pisadas retumban y se sincronizan con la banda de fondo simplemente no tiene precio.
Obviously without underestimating the other actors who likewise are not far behind, Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Warifght and John Turturro, each giving their personal touch to the character they play and making good chemistry with Robert Pattinson, our Batman this time. To be honest I didn't have much faith in Pattinson when it was announced that he was going to be the new Batman but I have to admit that he left me with my mouth closed in his interpretation, maybe many didn't like this Batman/Bruce Wayne for being very “emo” but in my opinion in a good interpretation for the way Matt Reeves is handling it.
The soundtrack of the film is at another level, by the hand of Michael Giacchino, we have a theme that accompanies Batman every time he enters the scene, it has many similarities to the theme of Dark Vader and it seems as if you were witnessing the entry into an unstoppable entity that will do whatever it takes to achieve its goal. The way Batman makes an appearance or slowly approaches (as in the case of the Batmobile scene), how his footsteps rumble and synchronize with the background band is simply priceless.
SourceLa trama, el desarrollo del conflicto, saber cómo, cuándo y dónde atacará Riddler otra vez, la relación de Batman y Jim Gordon, Gatubela, el Pingüino, todo el caso de Falcone cada una de las tramas que se encuentran en esta película presentan un inicio que te intriga, un desarrollo que te engancha y un final que te hace querer más. El desarrollo de cada uno de los personajes a lo largo de la misma y ver cómo cada uno reacciona con su particularidad antes las situaciones que se presentan le agrega una capa más a la película para quedarte a verla.
Sin duda, The Batman, en lo que a mi opinión concierne, es la mejor adaptación del personaje a la pantalla grande. Matt Reeves le otorga su propio toque al personaje, dándonos un Batman un poco más realista pero con sus toques de ficción, es un Batman imparable en combate pero que también recibe golpes, es el mejor de los detectives pero eso tampoco le garantiza la victoria y digo esto porque esta película el héroe, aunque gana un nuevo propósito, no gana la guerra contra Riddler pero eso ya lo veremos más a detalle en un próximo post dedicado a los personajes.
The plot, the development of the conflict, knowing how, when and where Riddler will attack again, Batman and Jim Gordon's relationship, Catwoman, the Penguin, the whole Falcone case, each of the plots found in this movie present a beginning that intrigues you, a development that hooks you and an ending that makes you want more. The development of each of the characters throughout the film and seeing how each one reacts in their own unique way to the situations presented adds another layer to the film to keep you watching.
Undoubtedly, The Batman, as far as I'm concerned, is the best adaptation of the character to the big screen. Matt Reeves gives his own touch to the character, giving us a Batman a little more realistic but with his touches of fiction, is a Batman unstoppable in combat but also takes hits, is the best of the detectives but that does not guarantee victory and I say this because this film the hero, although winning a new purpose, does not win the war against Riddler but we will see that in more detail in a future post dedicated to the characters.
SourceRecomiendo ver esta película tanto si eres fan como si no lo eres, solo te digo recomendaría no hacerlo si pasas completamente del personaje y don todo y eso te diría que le dieras una oportunidad, ya que adaptaciones como estas no las tenemos todo el tiempo. I recommend watching this movie whether you are a fan or not, I would only recommend you not to do it if you don't like the character and don't like it at all and I would tell you to give it a chance, since we don't have adaptations like this all the time. Pattinson is a very good Batman and Batman has the essence of emo personality haha although many fans do not want to accept it, of course he has it because of his justified trauma, I mention it because being emo for the sake of being emo there I do not see funny 😅
What I doubt is that this is the best adaptation, the development of the story takes away from batman what makes him batman by not being able to stop anything, this is overshadowed by the visual of the film that does take us to gothic city but I think it is a story with a lot to analyze that fails and works.
But it is an extremely entertaining film and with potential in sequels, that is undoubted, I'm already waiting for the second part that is taking forever to come out, good recommendation to see 😎
Exactly, Batman this time doesn't manage to stop anything as such but only this time I'm willing to accept it for being the movie that explores Batman's detective side the most, which I thought was the best.

Yes, that detective side of the Hero needed to be more developed and in fact I'm waiting for the next movie, which has taken a long time, to see how this facet of the Hero will be explored 😃
