Starting my weekend with such an interesting Bollywood movie cannot be overemphasized. Though, the title of the movie was a little bit contradictory to the central theme of the movie itself, the movie is a top notch movie with its story line being properly presented in acts and scenes by the characters who acted their roles to their full knowledge of their ability.

The movie, Mechanic Rocky as written and directed by Ravi Teja Mullapudi and produced by Ram Talluri really made my day and I would love to watch it over and again.

Though, the start of the movie was not really clear as everything was left to the tail end to be clear to the watcher, but in general, the movie is a must watch for movie lovers around the world, the movie is a 2024 Indian movie which showcased Indians culture through the language, though subtitled and their dressing, plus their foods and marriage. It's indeed an interesting movie to watch.

The movie has characters such as Rakesh, Priya, Rankireddy the Land grabber, Maya the lady fraudster, Vivek, Upma and a whole lot of other characters who really did well in playing their roles as ascribed to them by the movie director.

PLOT AND REVIEW:

The movie started with a woman going home while the rain was falling. Also, there's frustration and depression also in the first scene where a guy committed suicide just for the reason not known audience. Though, this is part of the movie plan by the director, but to be candid, watchers were left lost without having any idea of what was going on in the movie.

It's after this scene that we had another scene. A college scene came up after this scene and in this scene, we were shown a love relationship that existed between Rakesh and Priya and the stealing of the examination paper that took place and later got Priya's brother into trouble. All these happened just to prepare the general audience for what's to be seen in the movie. But in this particular scene, we can see the theme of love which took the centre stage of the scene and that of the indictment that got Priya's brother into trouble.

Aside from this scene, we were brought to another scene, a mechanic workshop and at the workshop, there's a guy whose name was Rakesh who dropped out from the college and his father. In this scene, the boy was promising the father that he would do well in the next examination, but his father would not agree with him and this led him to working at his family mechanic workshop. This scene was of a family affair.

After this the movie continued and the rest of other scenes were filled with intrigues and actions and it mostly happened in workshop and the road, but less I forget, there's a scene where some people were bent on taking over the workshop from Rakesh and his Father, but while his father was out to get the documents for the land, he fought them all and finished the customer work before his father came in. This is a total defense against injustice and it was done perfectly well.

So, like I said earlier, the other scenes were captivating and full of intrigues. Here in the other scenes, we found out what happened to Priya's brother and how Rakesh took it upon himself to help her take revenge.

Though this was not so easy for him to do, but he perfectly did it, by faking his father death and contacting the man who wanted to take over their workshop, but withdrew to be his friend and to support him when he needed his help plus making it real for the fraudsters to believe him on his father death and the release of his father insurance. This is seriously a smart move on his path and at the end, he got the three fraudsters arrested by the police who had earlier said it won't be possible without concrete evidence, but he made sure it's possible. Though his father who had been pronounced dead without him knowing nearly screwed everything up. Though, he had known before then, but because he could not exercise patience, he nearly got it screwed up, but thank God his son really did well to chase after them and handed them to the police. This is bravery on the part of the man Rakesh.

I would not also forget the role played by the Madam and her cohorts who are in the habit of defrauding me all in the name of helping them in the time of need. Though that's the role given to them and they played it well, tackling fraudulent acts of such pedigree should always take center stage by the government agencies such as the police force, not individuals as Rakesh did.

VERDICTS AND THEMES:

The movie is an interesting one as I have said earlier and the following themes can be found in the movie. The theme of love as can be seen between Priya and Rakesh cannot be overlooked in the movie, also, the theme of murder can also be seen in the movie and suicide also took place at the start of the movie.

Furthermore, the theme of fraud and bravery can also be seen in the movie. Marriage and other cultural practices such as music, dressing and food are at the center stage of the movie. Injustice and fearlessness are other themes of the movie.

The picture and the cinematography of the movie were crystal clear with the dancing steps of the characters via the musicals played in the movie making it to be more fun.
