Shadow force||the family love
Greetings!

Evening Hivians, how has been your day? Hope it's fine? It's been a while since I have reviewed a Hollywood action movie, but today, I would like to review and share my thoughts about an American action movie titled Shadow force.
Shadow force is an American action thriller film directed by Joe Carnahan and co-written by Carnahan and Leon Chills. It's indeed an interesting movie to watch.
The movie starred actors and actresses that really performed their roles well. Characters like Kerry Washington who acted as Kyran really performed her role very well, she was the mother of Ky and the wife to Omar Sy, who acted as Isaac and husband of Kyran and father to the young Ky. He was the co-leader of the group shadow force. Also in the movie, we have characters like Cinder, Auntie, Unc, Parker and Patrick and a whole lot of other characters who performed their roles creditably well.
THEME
The movie has in it, the theme of betrayal as can be seen in the way Unc betrayed Auntie in the issue that has to do with the Sarr's family and Jack Cinder.
Also, the theme of love can be seen in the movie. This theme of love can be seen between Isaac, his wife Kyran and Ky, their son. This theme of love really got to me in the course of the movie as family took the centre stage in the movie.
Also, murder as a theme cannot just be underrated in the movie, we can see how people were being hunted by the huntsman Cinder whereby he killed many people via his Shadow force group.
THE PLOT:
The plot of the movie is a simple one. Though, it wasn't so clear at the start, but later on as I watched on, I got so familiar with the plot.
The movie is about a couple who are part of a group called the shadow group, a group founded by Jack Cinder who's now the secretary general of the G7 international.
So, this two fellow cum couple fell in love and got pregnant. So, it's in the course of their relationship that they decided to exit the group which they did, but their exit didn't go well with the leader who was after their lives and sent the rest of the group to kill them but both the couple, Isaac and Kyrian with their kid, Ky overcame the challenges after so many instances of betrayal most especially by Unc.
And thereafter lived together in peace with the fear of being killed by the member of the group headed by Cinder who was later killed alongside his cohort by the Sarr's after being bursted by the OIG undercover who were supposed to be his aid, but planted by the CIA to serve as undercover to monitor his criminal act. At the end and after six months of the crises, the family were united and lived happily to celebrate their son's birthday. At the celebration, Kyrian received a call to come and joined a well formed Shadow force, but she turned down the offer.
THE REVIEW
The movie is interesting, but I have some reservations about the movie, but before then, I would like to talk about the use of other languages such as French and one other language that were being spoken without being subtitled in the movie. This sometimes cuts me out completely of what is being said by Omar Sy, who acted as Isaac and his son Ky in the movie. Though, I used to get back to the movie once they both switched to the normal English Language. But both the father and the son really played out their roles very well.
Apart from this, the fight that ensued between the man Isaac and his wife Kyrian was something that's not clear to me in the movie, why was the fight in the first instance, something that's meant to be of a reunion started with a fight. Though they ended up being united, the fight was meaningless to me.
Another things that was not so clear to me was how the boy, Ky who was being locked inside a secured place in the car and was not supposed to have come out after his mother Kyrian had even lost hope came out unhurt without the help of anyone. How is that possible? I don't know.
Also, the whereabouts of the Unc was not made known to us after the whole issue on the sea side. We were supposed to know what later became of him, but this was not made known to us.
So, these four things were those things that made the movie short of its standard to me. But aside from this, all those killing and fighting done in the presence of a kid is not too good for the kid's age. Though some were done to protect him, at least, there's some that were not meant to be. Auntie really tried in one of those events that would have been carried out in his presence, but he asked him to please excuse her to deal with Unc.
But one thing that I love so much about the movie is family love which can be seen in the way the Sarr's family loved themselves. Even, as the wife said in the movie, she said she's been protecting the family all this while and this can also be seen in the way she begged Cinder to come for her and leave her husband and the son and this was the event that took her to the beach. Her husband killing Cinder at the end also shows how much love they have for themselves.
RATING:
I will rate the movie 7/10 despite the flaws of the movie, it still worth watching over and again. The picture is so clear and the music played also got it embellished.
Thanks for reading.
