The negative effects of movies on our society

One of the ways we used to make ourselves happy and get entertained is through movies. The movie industries in the various countries of the word are now the backbone of their economy.

For instance, the Nigeria nollywood film industry has really contributed immensely to the economic situation and development of the country and this is because of people's love for movies.

Seeing or watching movies is one thing that so many people including myself love so much and this is because of the lessons there. One thing I have always known about movies and that has always prompted me to watch movies is the lesson I would be able to learn from it.

Although, the lesson to be learnt in a movie is not enough to draw my attention to watching a movie, but how fun and entertaining the movie is to me and my psyche.

However, as good as movies can be to us as humans, there are some negative or other sides of movies I detested with passion and that other or negative side is the immoral act of a movie.

Although, not all movies have an immoral scene, but these days, most of the movie we watch at home or online have one or two scenes where immorality is being practice, when talking about immorality, it's not about the s3x scenes alone, but other things that are not societal friendlies and being acted out in a movie.

Furthermore, one thing I believe in so much is morality and there's no amount of lessons being taught in a movie, when immorality sets in, then the movie is empty to me, that's my own opinion though.

So, this negative part of a movie is something that should be looked at and amended. Yes, I believe these people, I mean the movie writers and directors want to make things real and to me there's nothing too bad about that, but even at that, things must be done moderately so as not to corrupt the whole society.

One thing that these movie's stakeholders didn't know is that they are the mirror of the society and anything that goes in a movie would surely be replicated in the society.

I can boldly say that both the good and the bad sides of our society today are gotten from the movie, it's now left to us which one is superior to another when it comes to the bad and the good happenings in our society today. This is left for all of us to judge.

The mode of dressing, family lives, relationships and all other ways of human lives in which we are living today is being gotten from the movie.

In conclusion, a movie is a very good creative thing and it's full of lessons, but there's also the bad sides of it which should be promptly checked to make a sane society.
