The roles of music in movies

The existence of music makes life lively and when there's no music, there's no life as music itself is life and its power in making the society a place to live and be, cannot be overemphasized.

Music and the society and all what's going on in and around the society are inseparable. In fact, music defines society. This can be seen in the way song writers have been able to use their songs to tell us what's going on in the world and the society.

Likewise, movies are another mirror of life. In movies, the live audience or watchers have knowledge of what's going on around us via the message of the movie as being carried out by those characters used in the movie through their various roles.

So, having said this about music and movies, I would like to delve into the topic properly, which is music in movies. As mentioned earlier, music and movies are inseparable due to their roles in the real sense of what they represent, which is to mirror lives to their listener and their watchers.

The role of music in movies cannot be overemphasized as it helps to embellish and bring aesthetics to movies. When music is being used or played in a movie, there's this kind of embellishment that the music brings to the movie most especially when it's being played underground.

When background music is used, it brings about fluidity and good transition from one scene to another in the movie, unlike movies without background music.

Personally, I dislike movies without music as such a movie is always boring to me. Sometime ago, I stopped watching a movie halfway through due to the lack of good and solemn music being used or played underground in the movie.

When I first started watching the movie, I had thought I would watch the movie to the end as the thriller caught my attention, but as interesting as the movie was, I couldn't finish it due to the lack of music in it.

Furthermore, another role of music in movies is that of analyzing and giving more details or information about movies. One thing I have gotten to know about music in movies so far is that of the movie helping the watchers who couldn't interpret or comprehend what message the movie is trying to pass across to have a full knowledge of the movie.

I have seen people telling me they wouldn't have understood what the movie was all about if not for the music being played in the background. Music sometimes serves as the subtitles of a movie.

Watching Bollywood movies is another experience that I have got to see music playing a pivotal role in a movie. Aside from music being played underground, theirs always comes with a special moment of singing and dancing that got people thrilled and even passes across the needed messages to those watching from around the world.

So, in conclusion, music and movies are inseparable as both work hand in hand to bring to their audiences a special moment of fun, life and enjoyment.
