Interesante reseña. Sabe que no veo películas de terror, pero me gustaría acotar que está película dió lugar a una exitosa serie televisiva: "Sombras tenebrosas". Al menos acá en Venezuela tuvo mucho éxito, la transmitían de noche - me parece que no todas las noches sino una i dos veces por semana - nadie se oerdía de verla y se comentaba mucho acerca del seductor Barnabás Collins. De hecho, muchas féminas veían la serie no tanto por su trama como por verlo a él, muy seductor, tengo entendido.

En Wikipedia encintré esto al respecto: Sombras tenebrosas (Dark Shadows) es un serial televisivo gótico que originalmente se transmitió durante días hábiles en la Cadena de televisión ABC, desde el 27 de junio de 1966 hasta el 2 de abril de 1971. El programa fue creado por Dan Curtis. El guion de la historia, que fue escrito por Art Wallace, no menciona elementos sobrenaturales, pero la serie se convirtió en un evento sin precedentes en la televisión diurna cuando los fantasmas aparecieron unos seis meses después de que comenzara.

Interesting review. You know I don't watch horror movies, but I'd like to mention that this film spawned a successful television series: "Dark Shadows." At least here in Venezuela, it was very successful; it aired at night—I think not every night, but once or twice a week—and nobody missed it, and there was a lot of talk about the seductive Barnabas Collins. In fact, many women watched the series not so much for the plot as for him; he was very seductive, I understand.
