I remember last year when I read the review of this movie by @kemmyb, she had nothing but praises for the film and I promised myself and her that I would watch it sometime.
Well I have just finished watching it Andi can say this;
This has to be the best detective comedy movie I've seen this year😭😂😂.

Glass Onion A Knives Out Mystery 🎥

Plot

In the midst of the quarantine over the widely spread pandemic, multi-billionaire complicated genius and innovator, Miles Bron is hosting his annual weekend gang get-together in his private remote island in Greece.
Each get-together hosted by Miles has a specific game and the theme this year is detective; the gang has to work together to find the killer amongst them.
The world's best detective, Benoúr Blanc has also been invited to this get-together and takes part in the mystery game but only, with his arrival it's no longer a game.
Now Benoúr has to solve a real complex mystery, peeling of clues of the case until he gets to the center.

Now this is one film that is filled with twists and turns. One that's made to build up your curiosity about what's to happen next.
Immediately, in the beginning, you're hooked with the simplest trick of attention claiming in a movie.
A package delivered, a box. Your minds start to work from the beginning and that's how you know it's going to be a great show.

What I Enjoyed

Now in this show, there are a number of things that were totally pluses for me.

- Diverse Characters

Now in every show, one should have a specific range of characters. Not just ethnically, but in terms of ideals, religion's, beliefs, etc.
This helps add some individuality and characteristic fullness to the plot.
Some discourse and spice too, making a show more interesting.
Glass Onion's list of main characters were beautifully picked.
One person from every aspect of life that all have one thing in common, it makes for the perfect setting.

- A Great Plot

The aspect of this movie being brought up during quarantine made for a great plot, as so many millions were made and lost during that period, jobs crumbling and new ones springing up. This real life incident was implemented seamlessly into the story.

The story was also realistic too. As I can imagine a multi-billionaire doing something as crazy as a mystery game weekend in a private island in such a time if he wanted too.

The Ideas Spurred

This show leads one to think of the nature of humans.
That nature to try and desperately protect oneself, desperately hold on to your life wire to the point you're able to cut another's.
This movie makes one to think of just how far people are ready to go when they are really desperate.
To what length a person is ready to carry a motion when he or she feels threatened enough.
It's a really great experience to see.

The Ending

Now like I have mentioned before in my earlier movie post's, there's nothing like a show with a good ending.
When the ending is good, fulfilling and fits well, sometimes even if the show had a rather off-putting beginning it can be ignored.
This movíe's conclusion was simply epic and unexpected.
When Blanc, finally figured out the true murderer and why and how he did what he did he and you the viewer would be dumbfounded.
I most certainly was😂😂😭

Overall Review

In summary, I can say this was a very fulfilling film to watch. One that makes you think, feel that sense of danger and then laugh at the end without appearing to apply too much pressure to the plot.
An easy to understand case, with many layers one has to peel off slowly and carefully to get to the center which was just hiding there in plain view.
I'd give this show an 8 over 10 and I truly think everyone should watch it 😀
