Now I'm sure we all, from different nationalities have these old school horror stories. Stories about spirits, demons and ghosts that haunt's the unsuspecting and takes their souls or lives or both.
Now I'm sure that most of those stories have been dismissed as simple fables ND myths.
Well in Nigeria, plenty myths always have an element of truth to them...

Plot

A new girl, Amanda, enrolls into the Catholic community boarding school of the Malomo Community.
Suddenly, the community is under an attack from a demon that had attacked once before twenty years ago.
Now to save her life and the community, Amanda must face her family's secrets and uncover the truth about her father.

For those who may not know the tale of Madam Koi Koi, you're in luck cause there's not one true tale of the secondary school demon.
Like most horror stories, certain facts had been modified and extracted to the fact that there are different versions and accounts entirely.

Yet the most popular is the tale of the extremely beautiful female teacher who was raped and then killed on the school grounds. The pained spirit of the wrongfully killed teacher decided to haunt the school and it's students, killing, maiming and scaring the hell out of them at random.
She's known to be coming or nearby by the signature click-clack sound of her favorite red heeled shoes.

Now this movie, as expected changed the story a bit, for one the general origin of the ghost is unknown, but I'm quite sure it's not from the Yoruba tribe..

They have a lot of demons already 😂😂..

If anything, it would be more accurate if the Demon were to be from the Igbo's, but the Yoruba flick still worked pretty well😃

I was amazed by the amount of detail that was followed. It was truly enjoyable to watch the Yoruba incantations ongoing and the acting was quite fair.

It's quite a huge achievement for Nollywood 🔥😭😭

The casts did their job well, and the costume and makeup was pretty convincing, a lovely plot and decent photography
Not Hollywood... Still not bad.
I advice any #nigerian reading this who may have not watched this show, to drop everything and watch it!!!

Me sorprendió la cantidad de detalles que se siguieron. Fue realmente agradable ver los encantamientos yoruba en curso y la actuación fue bastante justa.

Los actores hicieron bien su trabajo y el vestuario y el maquillaje fueron bastante convincentes, una trama encantadora y una fotografía decente.
Hollywood no... Aún así no está mal.
