This is quite an in-depth view of her importance as a character.
I'll admit, I didn't really pay attention to Kaoru when watching, but I just might might view her in a new light now.

as a child my attention was drawn to the battles but it is now as an adult that I understand Kaoru's social sensitivity, which is vital to the story and complements Kenshin to justify the fact that she does not kill..... for me that Kenshin kills haha but who justifies in the narrative that conviction of not killing I think is Kaoru, I loved seeing Kaoru again to understand her better

de pequeño mi atención se la llevaban las batallas pero es ahora de adulto que comprendo mas esa sensibilidad social de Kaoru vital para la historia y que complementa a Kenshin para justificar el hecho de que no mate..... por mi que Kenshin mate jaja pero quien justifica en la narrativa esa convicción de no matar considero es Kaoru, me ha encantado ver a kaoru de nuevo para comprenderla mejor
