I believe that's just one of the major strengths about this show. The fact that this concept is possible is the most intriguing bit and it really brings an air of sobriety to the viewers.

"He can be anywhere, he can be anyone, just walking amongst us, and he might not be the only one."

Really makes your brain tik.

This movie manages to touch numerous themes, mostly on morals, religion and humanity itself.
It leaves you questioning everything asking about everything and then believing in nothing.

At a point, we are left to really think on what John has said, our denial making us question his sanity, for we know we aren't sane thus he must be insane.

Yet the sad truth is that there's no way for him to make us believe him, yet there's no way for us to disprove his stories either.

This also adds an air of the mystique, for we take this full load of information and don't know what to do with it.

The last bit of genius shown in the movie is the overall setting of it all.
This movie, the full 97 minutes of it is simple a discussion between John and his friends with one student in a cabin room.
There are 6 professors and one student, a room filled with bright minds in different areas of study relating to what John the Caveman is talking about, and their inability to disprove him further layers the sense of truth in what he's saying leaving us all trapped.

We get to watch slowly as John answers their questions and slowly, with his answers convince them about whatever aspect of history that was asked, until they reached breaking point and he decided to give them the peace of mind they so desperately needed.

This is a single discussion, a single dialogue between a 14,000 year old Cro Magnum, and six professors in archeology, historian, theology, anthropology, biology and psychiatry with two students; Linda Murphy and you the viewer who looks on with wonder and a little sense of imagination.
