Now this is one horror show that when I first saw the trailer I knew that I was going to watch it.

It's kinda like how you just see a bag on the store and know you must have it.

That's the same way I felt when I saw it's trailer, although due to my rather busy schedule and not wanting to watch it on cinema or Netflix I had to wait a few months to watch it before others.
I guess all I can say is that my patience paid off!!

Plot

Father Gabrielle Amorth, an enthusiastic out of the book exorcist gets a rather peculiar case from Spain.
The Vasquez family has inherited the San Sebastian Abbey in Castile and with it got a very powerful demon.
This demon possesses the youngest of the Vasquez family and asks in particular for the priest Gabrielle.
Now Gabrielle walks into a fight with pure evil, would his jokes and humor be able to help him this time, or would the devil finally succeed?

This movie brought plenty emotions to me; fear, laughter, shock, curiosity, excitement, I was literally switching from emotion to emotion, from face to face with every scene. It was truly electrifying.

Fear Street, Chucky, The Conjuring chronicles all had the same vibe, the same tempo, but this was entirely new.

The king of hell proved way more powerful than normal and even me had to sit down thinking of what he wanted from Henry.
In the end when everything was brought to light, it won't be just the horror that shocks you anymore, you'll just be amazed.

- The Touch of Reality

Now there's nothing I love most in a film than to see;

....and that just what happened.
Although the plot of course did have some touches of fiction.
Father Gabrielle Amorth, the chief Exorcist of the Vatican did exist, and the files say he was just as fearless and as witty as the movie portrays him to be.
It's nice to know that this movie was sort of a tribute for him and indeed he needs it, having conducted over 50,000 exorcisms, I feel by now you need a series on your head.

Overall Review

Now like I had implied, this wasn't your regular horror movie.
To be honest, it wasn't even particularly scary, but the sense of adventure and mystery makes up for the lacking in fear.
Nevertheless, this has to be one of the best horror movies I have ever watched.
It's R-rated though, cause although it isn't particularly scary, there is still some shocking scenes, lots of blood, a whole drum full of crude language and obscenities spouted by the devil, and some nudity.
Hence it's not for the little one's 🙂
Although all these were implemented to the minimum and did help the movie flow well.
I rank this show as a 9/10 and it's a must watch for anyone possibly later than me in watching it 😂.

Es como cuando ves una bolsa en la tienda y sabes que debes tenerla.

Trama
