What's Good Hive!

On this post I am sending my entry for CineTV | #27 - Favorite Movie Score or Soundtrack, I came across this event and if the subject is about not-so-typical love story with awesome soundtrack? I think this film is, if not perfect fit, close too.

What film Am I talking about?

Let us 'Begin again'.

Begin Again (2014) Isn't your typical love story. Well, kind of, but in a different way. This Film is about Self-Love, A brand New Confidence, Friendship and Music.

This is an American Film shown in 2014 with the lead role of Keira Knightly and Mark Ruffolo, Written and Directed by John Carney in the film Maroon 5 lead singer also part on the film Adam Levine.

What's It about?

This film is about Two Broken Soul who randomly met and in the process, helping each other to stand on there own feet. Gretta, A A Sweet Songwriter who moved from England to New York dragged along by his Up-coming Star, life long sweetheart and co-songwriter, Dave Khol. Unfortunate event happened and infidelity broke them apart. Soon after Gretta went to live with his old time friend Steve who lives in New York busking and joining open mics, who encourages her to do her singing as well.

Dan Mulligan, A worn out Record label executive. He recently been a bad beat, got fired and was troubled keeping his own balance with his daughter, wife, alcoholism and breakdowns, and it's starting to taking a toll to his career. One Night Dan went out to drink his problems away, losing his hope, until he see Gretta perform her piece, and right there and then, All he can do is imagine all her possibilities immediately ask her to represent her and produce her.

With limited resources and budget to fund for a Studio, Dan had to pull all his strings, cards and had to be creative making Gretta finish her album. and through the band he were able to put together and as new friendship was created, he were able to reconnect back to her turning-rebel daughter and created something beautiful turning the streets, the rooftops of New York as their very own Studio!

This film made me realize that Life is a beautiful chaos, that in the middle of it, we can find ourselves, Most of the time we left there and confused what to do, or demotivated, but there is always that comeback, no matter what. We humans are always innate to be with another person, helping each other and making sure we all achieve what we want for our lives, and sometimes we find that person to be the least person that we expect to be. This film also shows the value of Friendship, Family, Music and with just a little push, we can turn our fate to our favor. As Dan's Found himself able to become a better person not just for himself but also to his family, and as Gretta for her love of Music.
