The Terminal List: A gripping military conspiracy thriller
This weekend I watched The Terminal List. This is a miniseries on Amazon Prime starring Chris Pratt who plays a character named James Reece. The story begins as Reece's team is sent to capture a terrorist. However, something goes wrong and the entire team, except for two members, are killed. One of them being Reece.

The show starts off pretty confusing because the memories of Reece do not square up with the official record and he suspects that something is strange. But he isn't sure because he can't trust his memories or his perception of reality. So, throughout the movie, or actually the miniseries because it's eight episodes, you aren't sure, at least at the beginning, if Reese is losing his mind or if there is something more. The way that they shoot the show makes it difficult for you as a viewer to figure out if Reece is actually going insane or if there is something to his suspicions.
If you're into military type shows and conspiracies, this is a great show to watch. I watched it over two or maybe three days as the episodes are pretty long. Pratt does a convincing job of portraying his character and the plot is straightforward once he figures out that he's not going insane.
There is a plot twist at the end but you can guess it, I would say by the sixth episode when certain information is not easy to get, you're able to figure out that there is going to be a plot twist. There is going to be something popping up at the end to reveal what that is. Normally I don't care about spoilers, personally, but because this was a pretty good show I'm not going to reveal anything here.
So if you have some time to kill over the coming days and enjoy military conspiracy stories, I recommend watching The Terminal List on Amazon.
