Original "Drishyam 2: The Resumption" Malayalam Movie Review

Drishyam 2 released on February19, 2021 and I've watched it yesterday in hindi. I'm late to watch this masterpiece movie because I don't understand Malayalam language so I was waiting for the Hindi version. Though Bollywood remake the movie with the same story and released recently but I'm glad that I've watched the original one in a movie server.

Opinion About The Movie:

Georgekutty, a cinema hall owner, thrives in life but is a changed man. However, when his family gets entangled in a criminal investigation, he must protect them from the legal institution yet again. Source

The movie deserves to be a big hit as the story have some strong point. Its a kind so suspense thriller type movie and the story was carried forward from the part one of it. In the first part of this movie a protective father saved his daughter from a accidental murder. A boy tried to molest and rape the girl and her mother when they both tried to protest the boy attack the mother too and the girl use iron rod to hit on the boy and the boy spot dead.

The boy was the son of a reputed police office of the city and his mother investigate the case but couldn’t collect enough proof as a result accused rescued. The father saved his family from prison or the case as he buried the dead body in a police station which was under construction at that time. No one doubt that the dead body could be buried there.

In this part 2 of this movie the police inspector mother appoint secrete police to catch them red handed but the father again rescued his daughter and the family by executing his mastermind plans. The movie was full of thrill as every moment audience will think the accused will be caught but police and investigators were failed. Accused rescued without leaving any single proof. The whole represented perfectly.

Cast And Crew:

Leading roles of this movie are, Mohanlal as Georgekutty Meena as Georgekutty's wife Rani and Murali Gopy as IGP Thomas investigation officer.

A very talented Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer Jeethu Joseph behind the creation of masterpiece movie two times. Two times because Drishyam part 1 was also a super hit.

Review And Ratings:

This movie has highest positive review and ratings as it deserves to have. It has 8.4 star out of 10 and 4 out of 5 star rating according to search on internet. I liked this movie personally so my rating is as high as I found on Internet.
