Your review created a great many memories. Candy Candy was actually one of those programs that balanced sweetness with heartbreak, and it never is forgotten. I also enjoyed the part that made reference to the hardships the orphans experienced, since lots of people forget this kind of thing when they are focusing on the cute style of the anime.

I too like Albert and Stear, he just made the story so much alive. The path that Candy was taking was not simple and the people around her did make her path more valuable and special. I was peeping into your mind and thought it would be a good thing to watch it again and recall the feeling that you also have that mix of nostalgia and learning.

I agree with you, Albert and Stear made Candy's life more beautiful, they dried her tears and made her smile, that's why I love them. Even today I wonder why she didn't continue her romance with Terry, she was too noble to understand that in some way Susana was manipulating the situation because of the tragedy that happened to her.
