Femme is the story about Aphrodite a drag-queen that has a good life, one night he went to a convenience store where a group of men star making fun of him for the fact that was a drag-queen but he didn’t let himself be intimidated and that didn’t like to one of the guys that decide to follow him and ended beating him violently. Few months later after the attack that Jules received he feels that must take revenge for what he passed through so started to follow one of his attacker and found him in a gay spa discovering that he is hiding his real sexual orientation and decided that will expose him. Jules transform his personality to show himself as a heterosexual man and gain the trust of Preston his attacker. Since his plan star working also star a twist in the life of the main characters, feelings are growing in Preston for Jules but he doesn’t know if accept them and Jules is passing through the same making him doubt about his revenge. This movie will expose the life and situation that LGBT community live daily about teasing and attacks but also showing the other side, the life of a man that for society can’t show who he really is. Is not the first time this topic is in a movie but this movie will show through the amazing performances how this reality is still alive in our society.

Femme is a British thriller written and directed by Sam H. Freeman and Ng Choon, both directors also work in the short of Femme 2021, short that received an award in the British Independent Film Award for Best British Short Film in 2021. The director Sam H. Freeman also directed the TV Series Industry 2020 with the movie Femme both directors Sam H. Freeman and Ng Choon Ping made their debut the filming industry.

The protagonist of the story is Nathan Stewart Jarrett who portrays Jules a drag artist living in London, Stewart-Jarret is an actor that has worked in many TV series for mention one there is Generation also has work in different movies such as Candyman 2021 and Mope 2019 where he played a porn actor, his previous work has earned him recognition for his versatility as an actor making him perfect for the role of Jules. Another important protagonist is George Mackay he is in the foots of Preston one of the Jule’s attackers, Mackay is known for his roles in movies like How I Lie Now, 1917 and I Came By movies for which he has been highly acclaimed.

The cast also includes Aaron Heffernan, John McCrea and Asha Reid ach bringing their own style to the narrative. Aaron Heffernan has appeared in several TV series and films including Love Hate and The Titan showcasing his versatility as an actor, John McCrea is best known for his work in musical theater but he has work in series like Giri Haji and the movie Cruella. Asha Reid is an up and coming star appearing in the Femme short film and the series Nutritiously Nicola making strides as an actress.
