Movies I'll be watching on February 2024

January is over and a new batch of movies is about to release on theaters for February, starting with Argylle (2024) that already release in some countries yesterday but officially today on US and many other countries in America. February doesn't look that promising, this are some of the movies I got on my radar and to be honest some are a gamble like Madame Web and Land of Bad, my hopes are on Argylle, Lisa Frankenstein and Bob Marley: One Love. First two are comedy that I will try to enjoy, Argylle already coming with some low scores but its the internet so I will still watch it, regarding Bob Marley: One Love it will come down to how accurate the story is for reviews, Kingsley Ben-Adir is a great actor and I like him on Secret Invasion although didn't like the Mini Series that much. Here I upload the trailers to 3Speak and added a small description of what I expect from this movies.

Argylle is a movie directed and produced by Matthew Vaughn, director of some movies such as Kingsman and Kickass. Argylle has an amazing cast that include Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, John Cena, and Samuel L. Jackson. This movie is about a famous novelist (Bryce Dallas Howard) that write a book series about a secret agent name Argylle (Henry Cavill). One day traveling in train, she met a fan that result being an undercover spy (Sam Rockwell) and he is in the train to save her from other spies that try to kidnapped or killed her. Luckily they could escape but when she arrived to the agent agency she was informed that she is a genius because she has been writing everything about the real agent Argylle, word by word, everything occur in real life and that's why she is the must wanted person for all the spies in the world. All she write is a guide for other spies that are trying to capture agent Argylle and that is the reason why the others spies need her to finished her last book in order to know what is going to happen and how and when they are going to have the opportunity to capture him. During the movie she also is going to experience her own adventures, always accompanied by her cat Alfie and protected by Aidan (Sam Rockwell), until the moment that she met the real agent Argylle.

Lisa Frankenstein is a horror comedy movie directed by Zelda Williams (Robin Williams daughter) in her directorial debut. Written by Diablo Cody, acclaimed writer of movies like Juno (2007) and Jennifer's Body (2009). Starring by Kathryn Newton better known as Cassie Lang in the Marvel movie Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Cole Sprouse a recognized american actor for many roles he has performed one of those is Jughead Jones in the TV series Riverdale. The story is set in 1989 and follow Lisa Swallows, she is a teenager having a conversation with her best friend about her ideal young man, but she has a weird love for a death young man and she visit his grave daily, talking to his bust, having lunch or reading a book to spend time with him. One night during a lighting storm Lisa accidentally reanimates these body that follow her into her house, she is freak out of what is happening but instead of try to get away from him she ending falling more in love with him and decided to rebuild his body into the man of her dreams. Using an old tanning machine that is in her garage, Lisa take the path of look for people that can helper to this transformation, people that she state are bad people and start committing crimes like cutting parts of their bodies and use them for the big transformation. Lisa is going to passed through many situations and is accepting her new self, one developed for this new person with who she decided to share her life with. A movie full of comedy, drama, love, disappearances, craziness and action that will be showing the power of love in the most bizarre way.

Bob Marley: One Love is a movie directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green who also direct the movie King Richard a biographical movie nominated to best movie in 2022. The producer of this movie is Ziggy Marley, Bob Marley son. Bob Marley: One Love is a biographical musical drama film that will show the life as a person, an icon, a father and a husband of the most successful, remembered and acclaimed reggae singer of all times, Bob Marley. Everything start in a time were the island of Jamaica was living one of the most conflicted time with the military force. Bob Marley wanted to spray a message of love and peace to his people and all over the world, through his music, but exist people that wanted to silence him because his music was a message that the government couldn't allow. Unfortunately on December 3rd, 1976 when Bob Marley was in his home with friends and his wife, they suffered an assault as a message to Bob Morley to stop raising his voice. This assault was clearly to kill him and his wife, but even though, that doesn't stop Bob Marley to fight for freedom, love and peace in his country. That's why he decided to give a big concert in his beloved island Jamaica to send the message that he was not afraid and that he always will fight for his people, for his family, for his integrity, for peace and love. The film stars Kingsley Ben-Adir as Bob Marley, also plays Gravik on the Marvel TV series Secret Invasion, Lashana Lynch as Rita Marley (Marley's Wife), Lashana Lynch is better known for her role of Maria Rambeau in Captain Marvel, and James Norton as Chris Blackwell, mainly known for his performance on the British TV series War and Peace as prince Andréi Bolkonsky.

Madame Web is the new proposal of Sony and Marvel Studios, based on the Marvel Comic character of the same name, it is directed by S. J. Clarkson (director of the miniseries "The Defenders 2017"). Madame Web bring a new superhero named Cassandra "Cassie" Webb starring by Dakota Johnson who embody at the beginning of the movie a role as a paramedic. One day she suffered an accident, while she is trapped in a car on the edge of a bridge, it falls off into a river being saved by a colleague but after that accident she star developing psychic abilities. These psychic abilities help her to see the future that shows her that three other women are in danger. Cassie accepting her new powers is decided to protect and save the life of these 3 new characters. After save hers from an attack in a train station, these new characters, Julia Carpenter is Spider-Woman (Sydney Sweeney), Anya Corazon is Spider-Girl (Isabela Merced) and Mattie Franklin is Spider-Woman (Celeste O’Connor), realized that they have little connections with Cassie but it will be increasing until they develop all hers powers. Tahar Rahim as Ezekiel Sims its show as the main villain appearing in Cassie many visions trying to kill the three teenagers. They all are going to passed through many tense situations full of action, guided by Cassie visions, while she is trying to figure it out the reason why Ezekiel Sims wanted them all and showing her that the web also connected them all.

Land of Bad is a movie directed by William Eubank recognized for direct the film Love (2011) and the Signal (2014) and was co-written with David Frigerio. The movie start with an Air Force team that was assigned to the mission of retrieved a CIA agent that was captured by terrorist in the Philippines. During the mission, Reaper is the USAF drone pilot who provides air support from a General Atomic MQ-9 Reaper to the US Delta Force Team on the ground. The Delta Team was in placed to start their mission, recognizing every detail of the place but suddenly they were ambushed. That forced them to separate from each other in special the new young JTAC officer Kinney, the one that now has become the person that needs to be rescued. Only by the guide of Reaper, Kinney must trust in all the information that Reapers provide to him if he wants to stay alive. Kinney now alone is conscious that is going to be tested in this land and must affront every situation using every technique he learned during his training and believed in what is in his heart. At the same time Reapers is more than determined that every men that is fighting for his country in that mission must return home. Land of Bad is a movie with an amazing cast with Russell Crowe as Reapers, Crowe an Academy Award winner in 2001 for his performance in Gladiator, Liam Hemsworth as Kinney, remembered for his role in the movie The Hunger Games and Milo Ventimiglia as Sugar, Ventimiglia has memorable performances such as Jack Pearson in TV Series This is Us.

Recently I have been changing my content to a more informational type, going through trailers, news and still keeping reviews, I might not review all of this movies but for sure will put up Threads about them, those that stand out I will make a review and if any is very very bad I still will so people can be aware before hand, the rest of the year still look solid with some titles Dune: Part Two, Deadpool 3, Gladiator 2, Joker: Folie a Deux, just to mention a few.

If I have to put numbers up before watching them this would be the scores, considering them as entertaining movies worth spending the time.

Lets see how this play out after I watch them, I'm still pending to put up my Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom review it was a cool movie soft 7/10, recently did put my Ferrari (2023) review solid 7/10.

Never let others ruin fun for you, no matter how inaccurate, messages, movies are suppose to be entertaining not educate but do understand the type of content you are about to consume, the woke bs doesn't work with me, that is irrelevant if there are messages or not in a movie, if I don't like something I just turn it off.
