I mostly watch movies at home, the reason is money, I had this talk with my wife on December last year ahead of all the movies that were already announce for 2026, we first did a rough math watching the ones we like and then went down to 10 movies, this is tickets, popcorn and uber just the two of us, we had spend anything from $300 - $500, its not ultra expensive but for that money I put up some more and get me a nice tv, that actually we are about to get and wait for movies to drop to streaming, based on needs and income I can justify really good movies only, this year we want to watch The Odyssey, Spiderman and Dune, may be Dr Doom may be

It’s sad to see how movie ticket prices "kill" part of the joy of watching movies, isn't it? We are forced to go to the movies less often because of this.
In cases like these, we simply need to adapt to the reality of our budget.
