Most of them honor, Mariko a combination of things, she was forcing Ishido to kill her so the other families hostage reveal against him and also give a legal motive to Toronaga be the hero that saves Osaka, but besides that she still wanted to die after her entire family was wipe out she was force by Buntaro her husband to live as order by her father before he died, it's like Buntaro denied her the right to die so she could not live with the shame 🤷 everything runs in circles to honor
