Well its not my first anymore, second post I made been sick, today I don't have any fever but still feeling sick, have been sleeping a lot and drinking water, to make things worst today is my Wife birthday so I had to do a few shores and we are at my sister in law apartment after a short birthday party in a local restaurant, here I am on a small desk that I borrow trying to pull a post within the next two hours and not miss my daily post.

Part of the main cast is Gabriel Basso, I remember him from American Wrestler and old movie from 2016 but after that I don't remember seen him in any other mayor movie or tv show, same goes for Luciane Buchanan who is the second main actress, although both are doing a fantastic job in my opinion, over all the show started with a 7.5/10 on IMDB, as it moves forward will get better for sure.

The Night Agent is a Tv Series that reminds me a lot to Homeland, it is based on a Novel from Matthew Quirk, for now not as complicated but I'm sure it will turn into something in that line, so far I have seen three episodes, the mystery starts to unfold and those on the loosing side of the conspiracy started to get murder. The series has no time for just story line episode, right from the start is pure action, bombing, shooting, murder and nobody knows who did it, there are some puppets that show up but eventually those get killed too, also have to mention effects and music are on point, this series probably wont be too popular may be because the main cast is not as known as Pedro Pascal, now days he is the benchmark, but if Netflix doesn't cancel it for sure there will be a few more seasons.

Shawn Ryan is the director, he have work on other tv series that I really love for example Lie to Me, The Mentalist, Bones and work also on Mad Dogs the movie, this three series that I mention have related theme same as The Night Agent they are about police or federal agent working on cases daily but The Night Agent is different since its a story instead of a different case on each episode.

The other day I was watching a video that explains how studios are saving money by having episodes to last over 30 minutes, I look it up and post it on a thread, episodes on this show are average 55 minutes, not short at all.

You know it wont be an easy day when you are an FBI agent who finds a bomb that a guy left behind in the train, you are in the train and its packed without knowing how to stop the bomb, all you can do is stop the train and safe as many people as possible that how it all started with Peter Sutherland an FBI agent whose father is accused of treason but it was never proved, his father died in a car "accident" before he could prove his incense, Peter played by Gabriel Basso works in a program called The Night Agent, he is sitting in a room for most part of the night waiting for a phone to ring while he does paper work, that line is for field agents to use when they are in trouble, everything is coded by names and passwords to verify that the person calling is indeed an agent.

Peter tries to safe as many people he could but the train eventually explodes, he ends up all F up, has a concussion and is a bit dizzy from the bomb explosion, at least he was able to safe a little girl he was talking to in the train before the bomb show up.

He was just sitting taking a break waiting for the dizziness to faint out, Peter sees the guy who left the bomb on the train, start chasing him until he gets to an ally where the terrorist try to ambush him, after some fighting and shooting something that will be key for the future of the series is a tattoo on his side, it was a snake tattoo but its very particular style, I'm no tattoo artist but based on what I have seen online it looks like from the middle east

It looks like Peter is a great agent that the FBI and the White House wants him on their side but its been the impression that between government agencies its all about power so its not seen ok for the White House to pull agents from FBI based on the FBI Director.

Rose Larkin second main character played by Luciane Buchanan shows up, entrepreneur who is currently broke after a data breach happen at her company now living at her aunt Emma house, on the first episode not much about Rose is explain but latter on it will, her aunt an uncle are not exactly what the appear to be.

Source

Rose had to find out the hard way, she was sleeping until she heard some discussion downstairs but it was her aunt and uncle talking about a job they been working on, both are agents and think their life is at risk, they know someone is coming for them, without having much time to explain gave Rose a paper with the password and phone number to the Night Action line, tell her to go to another house, pick the phone and call for help.

Two men show up with intentions to kill Rose uncle and aunt, they succeed at their job but one of them show his face and Rose was able to catch it, all this scenes are very dark and for anyone to remember a face during such situation would be hard even if you see the person again, she saw his face for a few seconds.

Rose finally was able to call The Night Action line, Peter start asking some questions but she had no clue what he was talking about or what was her aunt Emma and uncle Henry real job was, so she tells Peter they are in danger, probably dead and probably they coming for her too. Peter sends police units to Rose location and had to giver her exact instructions on what to do to avoid the aggressor, there was a lot of suspense on this scene, Luciane did a great job bringing the character of Rose to live, scared, confuse, alone, about to die and all she had was a guy on the line telling her what to do.

Peter shows up at the scene to pick up Rose but FBI director shows too, looks like the order to pick up Rose was over written by the White House and Peter had direct orders to protect Rose, she tells Peter there is someone at the White House who cant be trust so she doesn't trust Peter or any one else at first.

Source

Diane Farr, the President’s chief of staff, has been working with Peter to get him go up in the ladder of bureaucracy within the FBI, at this point Im not sure about it or her interest on Peter, it looks like she wants to help Peter clean his father name and give him and opportunity to move on but I don't buy it. She gave orders to Peter, keep Rose safe at all cost and dont ask or tell her anything related to him.

The killers are still after Rose since now she is part of the job, takes Peter a lot of effort to Rose to help him defeat them during a car chase, its not over for sure and it wont stop until Rose is dead, it comes down to Peter keep Rose alive, she doesn't trust anyone other than him. After the car chase Feds sit down with Rose and want her to talk but she wont as her aunt mention someone at the White House cant be trust, her only way out of this is to find out who her aunt and uncle were, what they were working on and why they got killed, she has to get all this answers by her own but Peter will be of great help. I like this concept that she doesnt trust anyone, usually its the other way around as government agent arrive the victim starts talking to then be fool again and ends up dead but not the case, at some point I think Rose could start to have doubts about Peter too.

At the end of this episode finally show up to the two bad ass MF who are after Rose and Peter, Dale and his girl friend Elane who reminds me a bit to the Joker the way she talks and acts, this two stole a baby just to trick a woman telling her she use to live at her house when she was a little girl to then kill her, was a job but I cant tell if the woman was related to Rose or Peter, after they are done Dale gets a text telling them to go back to D.C and finish what they started.

The Night Agent in my opinion is a great tv series, actors are not that well known but almost every one has bring to live their part very well, I like the duo of Rose and Peter, hopefully they dont end up together as a couple just to keep things different from other stories and lets see how the conspiracy part evolve, after a few episodes I have to see it works great, at this point there is nothing I don't like about the show.
