Good evening my wonderful buzzers! What a day to be alive!

Today was a rather good day, spending time with the family, we stopped into a small 'comic con' event happening in the nearby city!

This free event was as one of my kids described it, 'basically a car boot sale'. This was before we'd even had a chance to walk around the stalls and found the prices on most of the items! To which she said 'Why's everything so expensive, that's not like a boot sale at all!'

I had to try to explain that it was 'merchandise' being sold mainly to collectors looking to grab some awesome merch! However, most of the stalls were small, independent creators selling their own merch, from 3d printed trinkets to T-shirts and mostly stickers! I think 95% of the stalls there had stickers for sale, from a few bucks to many! For a sticker!!!

Well, I suppose everyone has to make some money somehow!

As the title suggests, the highlight for me was the Bat Mobile! Interestingly enough, this was situated outside the event (probably to try draw a few more visitors inside!). The event was rather underwhelmingly advertised, even searching online I only found a couple of mentions of it! It was a mini Comic-Con one could say. In fairness, we were there on the first day, pretty early. The main costume event wasn't until late that afternoon!

We spent about 20 mins having a quick walk-through, with nothing too exciting catching our eye. In total, there were about 30 stalls, with a range of items from comics to toys, T-shirts to Metal printed signs, all the good stuff you'd expect at Comic-Con. There was a small 'family area' to create slime and decorate masks, the kids weren't too interested in that either.

There was a small area in the middle with some of the more classic items you'd expect to see at such events, I had to get a few pictures of Deadpool and the Avengers gear! There was also a car from Ghostbusters and Slimer!

I think most people were excited by the Scottish Stormtrooper! We saw him outside beside the batmobile and then shared an elevator with him on the way down to the event! The kids were worried about being stuck in such a confined space with him! Luckily I knew Stormtroopers were famed for their bad aim so wasn't worried in case he started shooting!

Hope you enjoyed the images! To the Batmobile!

Sloth out!
