Dvd collection

Hi,

Thought I'd do a post to show off my dvd collection.

I don't use streaming services, or watch terrestrial TV, so only watch dvds. No bluetooth either, or wifi, i use a cd player for music too.

I once bought 1000 dvds for £25, they are very cheap, although i might spend a few quid on a dvd i particularly want, being the series: the detectorists, of which is worth the £15 i spent on the three series.

Ive always enjoyed film, as one who has spent the majority of my waking time dreaming, a film really sticks with me and has the ability to emotionally charge me, or spurn on a week of frenzied curiosity, where by my whole belief system is changed for a while and i grow as a person, it also can have the opposite effect, i dare say, so I'm careful about what i watch.

My five favourites are as follows:

Films:

Interstellar
The big lebowski
Burn after reading
The lord of the rings
The game

Series:

Big bang theory
Dads army
Red dwarf
The expanse
The detectorists

And ill add the american version of the office to this list, and there are many more to add for both the films and series, but these were the five that came to mind. Tenet is a great film, clockwork orange is still a good film, spaced is a good series.

Some of my collection are blu rays, but i really dont see much difference between dvd and bluray, maybe its just my eyesight.
