In the last year, there have been several films and documentaries produced about the most dangerous man alive in the world, Russia's President Putin, and the one who originated a 3+ year war between his country and Ukraine that is still active. It should be noted that I don't know Putin's biography and I haven't seen another movie based on his story, from all the options presented in my streaming service I chose this movie because of its low rating 😆, I wanted to see why they evaluate this production so bad, directed by Patryk Vega and I got the answer a few minutes after starting.
It starts with a shocking hook scene, it draws attention to the despicable, humiliating and grotesque way they show Putin. At that moment, the viewer is not clear whether it is the past, present or future of this man; in the middle of the film it is understood that it is the future. He is shown in a hospital or in a private room that gives the impression of being a hospital, naked covering his parts with a diaper, having a panic attack, where his body does not respond, but his mind is clear, outside the room there are military guards organizing the agenda, at that moment a military man arrives to present the report of what was happening in the war, but he is not fit to receive anyone, however, he heard that someone was waiting for him and decides to attend him while the nurses assist him, in that process they change his diaper that is full of excrement, they inject him several drugs and all that in the presence of the military who feels uncomfortable to be there, but Putin presses and acts as if nothing was happening.
This scene is very unpleasant and although I am sure that millions of people would like it to be true or that it will really happen, personally I found it a scene full of hatred, mockery, and humiliation, even a lack of respect for the people of Russia, and I am not political nor do I justify the actions of this man. What is certain is that this scene kept me in the story until the end.

En el último año, se han producido varias películas y documentales sobre el hombre más peligroso del mundo con vida, el presidente de Rusia Putin, y el que originó una guerra de más de 3 años entre su país y Ucrania que sigue activa. Cabe destacar que desconozco la biografía de Putin y no he visto otra película basada en su historia, de todas las opciones presentadas en mi servicio de streaming escogí esta película por su baja calificación 😆, quería ver por qué evalúan tan mal esta producción, dirigida por Patryk Vega y obtuve la respuesta a los pocos minutos de iniciar.Comienza con una escena de gancho impactante, llama la atención la forma tan despreciable, humillante y grotesca en la que muestran a Putin. En ese momento, el espectador no tiene claro si es el pasado, presente o futuro de este hombre; a mediados de la película se entiende que es el futuro. Lo muestran internado en un hospital o en un cuarto privado que da impresión de ser un hospital, desnudo cubriendo sus partes con un pañal, teniendo un ataque de pánico, donde su cuerpo no responde, pero su mente si está clara, afuera de la habitación hay militares resguardando organizando la agenda, en eso llega un militar a presentar el parte de lo que estaba sucediendo en la guerra, pero él no está apto para recibir a nadie, sin embargo, escuchó que alguien esperaba por él y decide atenderlo mientras las enfermeras lo asisten, en ese proceso le cambian el pañal que está lleno de excremento, le inyectan varias drogas y todo eso en presencia del militar quien se siente incómodo de estar allí, pero Putin presiona y actúa como si nada estuviera pasando.
Esta escena es muy desagradable y aunque estoy segura de que millones de personas quisieran que fuera cierta o que de verdad pasará, en lo personal me pareció una escena cargada de odio, burla, y humillación, hasta una falta de respeto para el pueblo de Rusia, y aclaro no soy política ni justifico los actos de este hombre. Lo que sí es cierto es que esta escena me mantuvo en la historia hasta el final.
This film of Putin keeps the biography between the past and the present with the resource of flashback, they show his childhood which was difficult first abandoned by his mother as she had a husband who did not accept Putin, mistreated him and preferred to leave him before his stepfather would kill him, alone in the street he had to survive, he was lucky that a woman picked him up but the children in his neighborhood bullied him, he learned to defend himself with violence. He befriends an older boy who was the leader of a small gang that teaches him to steal and cheat, but he is killed and this marks a before and after in Putin's personality.
From there begins a part that mixes fantasy and reality, showing two imaginary beings that influence Putin, the spirit of the boy he admired and the personality of a woman who sometimes seemed to be his first love and also his mother, being carried away by them and their thoughts was growing his ambition and lust for power.
In this film there is nothing about the war, it shows a vision of Putin's psychology, his political strategies to become president and how he stays in power by spreading fear, with acts of corruption, a cold man without empathy, with psychological problems and a time bomb for himself. The film is a parody of Putin, which for me is far from being objective and real, however I saw it complete and I was entertained, to make this review I took some time after watching it, it is a film of this year 2025 that is still on the grid of streaming services.
The interpretation of actor Thomas Kretschmann is incredible in addition to the resemblance to Putin. I think the purpose of this movie is to give hope to the people of Ukraine and to show the world the cause of Putin's madness, his personality and how dangerous it is to put power in the wrong hands.

Esta película de Putin mantiene la biografía entre el pasado y el presente con el recurso de flashback, muestran su infancia que fue difícil primero abandonado por su madre ya que tenía un marido que no aceptaba a Putin, lo maltrataba y prefirió abandonarlo antes de que su padrastro lo matará, solo en la calle le tocó sobrevivir, tuvo la suerte de que una mujer lo recogiera pero los niños de su vecindario le hacían bullying, aprendió a defenderse con violencia. Se hace amigo de un niño mayor que era el líder de una pequeña banda que lo enseña robar y engañar, pero es asesinado y esto marca un antes y un después en la personalidad de Putin.Desde allí comienza una parte que mezcla la fantasía y la realidad, mostrando dos seres imaginarios que influyen en Putin, el espíritu del niño que admiraba y la personalidad de una mujer que a veces parecía ser su primer amor y también su madre, dejándose llevar por ellos y sus pensamientos fue creciendo su ambición y ansias de poder.
En esta película no se vé nada sobre la guerra, muestran una visión de la psicología de Putin, sus estrategias políticas para llegar a ser presidente y como se mantiene en el poder difundiendo miedo, con actos de corrupción, un hombre frió y sin empatía, con problemas psicológicos y una bomba de tiempo para el mismo. La película es una parodia de Putin, que para mí está lejos de ser objetiva y real, sin embargo la ví completa y me entretuvo, para hacer esta reseña me tomé un tiempo después de verla, es una película de este año 2025 que sigue en la parrilla de los servicios streaming.
La interpretación de actor Thomas Kretschmann es increible además del parecido con Putin. Creo que el propósito de esta película es dar esperanza al pueblo de Ucrania y mostrar al mundo la causa de la locura de Putin, su personalidad y lo peligroso de poner el poder en las manos equivocadas.

¡Wow! ¡Qué fuerte lo que cuentas de esa película de Putin! La verdad es que el inicio que describes es impactante, grotesco y, como dices, lleno de odio y humillación. Entiendo perfectamente tu sensación de incomodidad, independientemente de la opinión que uno tenga sobre él. Me parece súper interesante cómo mezclan el pasado y el presente con esos flashbacks de su infancia tan dura: el abandono de su madre, el bullying, la influencia del líder de la pandilla..
Por lo que dices, la película se centra más en su psique y en cómo llegó al poder, dejando de lado la guerra actual. Esa visión de un hombre frío, corrupto y con problemas psicológicos... es la imagen que muchos tienen de él. Que la interpreten como una parodia ya dice mucho de la intención del director. Es una película que genera reacciones fuertes, sin duda.. Buena reseña!
Hola @jessuses1381 así es, como dices la intención de la dirección es clara, el guión es interesante aunque el personaje protagónico no habla mucho, lo hacen pensar y comunicarse con sus amigos imaginarios 🤣
