For this occasion of a touching movie, I have a special one. The truth is that I found it very moving, and I guarantee you'll shed at least one tear, hahaha. The movie is called Hachi: A Dog's Tale (or Siempre a tu lado, Hachiko in Spanish). It is a tribute to devotion, becoming a moving ode to the friendship, love, and loyalty between a dog and its owner.

What makes it so touching? I think the mere fact of having a pet already generates tenderness. As we said, the theme is about the unconditional love of pets, in this case, the dog named Hachiko. The truth is that I don't have preferences among film genres. It's true that I primarily love the horror genre, but I can watch all genres: suspense, drama, action, comedy, animation, war, etc. The genre I can say I don't like, and I've seen few of them, is musicals.

📖 Spoiler-Free Synopsis

The plot begins when university professor Parker Wilson (Richard Gere) finds a stray puppy, an Akita, at a train station and decides to take him in, naming him Hachi.

An unbreakable bond forms between the dog and its owner.

Hachi develops the habit of accompanying Parker to the station every day when he goes to work and faithfully waiting for him in the same spot at the time of his return.

🏆 Fun Fact

Although only one dog (Hachi) is seen in the movie, he was actually played by three Akita dogs named Chico, Layla, and Forrest. Each one represented a different stage in the life of the faithful Akita.

Two of the three protagonist dogs, Chico and Layla, were adopted by their respective trainers, David Allsberry and Mark Harden, at the end of the filming, due to the strong bond they developed.

At the main filming location, the Woonsocket Depot Square train station in Rhode Island (USA), a bronze statue in honor of Hachiko was unveiled in 2012. It is a replica of the famous original statue located at the Shibuya station in Japan, where the real story took place.

Nothing to hate; the movie is super well-made. There are people who don't like the film because it's too sad.

The truth is that when you finish watching it, you have a lump in your throat and you want to go out and buy an Akita dog. The emotions it stirs are many.

Honestly, the ending.

Para esta ocacion de pelicua que sea tierna tengo una pelicula especial, la verdad me pareció muy, y te garantizo por lo menos una lágrima vas a soltar hahaha, la pelicula se llama Siempre a tu lado, Hachiko es un homenaje a la devoción, convirtiéndose en una conmovedora oda a la amistad, el amor y la lealtad entre un perro y su dueño.

¿qué la hace tan tierna? Creo que el solo hecho de haber una mascota ya genera ternura, el tema como dijimos es sobre al amor incondicional de la mascotas en este caso el perro llamado Hachiko, la verdad que no tengo preferencias entre los generos de las peliculas, si es verdad que me encanta el genero del terror principalmente, pero te puedo ver todos los generos, suspenso, drama, accion, comedia, animacion, guerras, etc. El genero que si puedo decir que no me gusta y que son pocas las que visto son los musicales.

La trama comienza cuando el profesor universitario Parker Wilson (Richard Gere) encuentra un cachorro vagabundo, un Akita, en una estación de tren y decide acogerlo, llamándolo Hachi.

Se forma un vínculo inquebrantable entre el perro y su dueño.

Hachi desarrolla la costumbre de acompañar a Parker a la estación todos los días cuando va al trabajo y de esperarlo fielmente en el mismo lugar a la hora de su regreso.

🏆 Dato Curioso

Aunque en la película solo se ve a un perro (Hachi), en realidad fue interpretado por tres perros de raza Akita llamados Chico, Layla y Forrest. Cada uno representó diferentes etapas en la vida del fiel Akita.

Dos de los tres perros protagonistas, Chico y Layla, fueron adoptados al finalizar el rodaje por sus respectivos entrenadores, David Allsberry y Mark Harden, debido al fuerte vínculo que desarrollaron.

En el lugar de filmación principal, la estación de tren de Woonsocket Depot Square en Rhode Island (EE. UU.), se develó una estatua de bronce en honor a Hachiko en 2012. Es una réplica de la famosa estatua original que se encuentra en la estación de Shibuya en Japón, donde tuvo lugar la historia real.

Odiar nada, la pelicula está super bien echa, ahì gente que no le gusta la pelicula porque es muy triste.

La verdad cuando terminas de verla, estás con un nudo en la garganta que quieres salir a comprarte un perro de raza akita, las emociones que me mueven son muchas.

Sinceramente el final.
