Based on:
The movie is based on the book with the same name "Burning Man" written by A.J. Quinnell in the year 1980, the story of the book is very similar to what we see in the movie.

Critics:
The reviews are mixed, even so the film was a success in its premiere, highlighting the positive reviews for actress Dakota Fanning for her role that despite being a child, acted in an incredible way highlighting her talent, and the actor Denzel Washington was also incredible acting, the negative reviews, what they say is that it can be very violent.

Opinion:
For my opinion the movie is incredible, the action scenes are great, the plot is great, I love the loving relationship between John and Pita, as this girl teaches a man to believe in love again, Pita's innocence makes him feel love again and want to live again. The performances are incredible and Dakota and Delzen do an excellent job, also highlights the performance of the singer "Marc Anthony" which is one of his first performances in film.

Conclusion:
As a conclusion I can say that the movie is incredible, I recommend it 100%, it is a moving story, it has a very beautiful message about believing in love again through the eyes and feelings of a little girl, which reborns the love of a father for a son, and how much a father can do for his son. It is not the case of the protagonist of the film, but John began to love Pita as his daughter, so the message is clear. It also shows how for money the authorities can sell themselves to anything, for money ambitious people are capable of doing anything, even attempt with the lives of their own family members.
