Well, now that I finally have some free time I would like to take advantage of the course of this week to talk about some series and maybe movies and maybe even short videos, that not for being short have been bad on the contrary, but the point is that I already have free time, the university has certainly consumed me a lot and now that I have a whole week off for holidays (holy week) and I would like to take the opportunity to talk about those things that have caused me a good impression at the time when I still had my vacation, so what better way to start with the movie, which I will talk about next, which turned out to be very entertaining with a lot of visual effects, songs, dances, combat and intensity.

Personally I am not a person who consumes content in movies, series or animations from India, but in this case and with this particular film I wanted to give it a chance, since all this began with a very peculiar dance and a choreography of the same magnificent in many ways, that and being a recent winner of an Oscar award for curiously this very thing, in terms of dance and choreography, called my attention so much that I wanted to give the film itself a chance, and although it is certainly entertaining and interesting, I admit that I am not used at all to the great use of computer animation or scenes with exaggerated slow motion and so over demanding and even somewhat laughable at some points, but I think it's mostly a matter of humor, but I'll talk about this later both its pros and cons so this time I bring you the RRR film.

Very well now it is time to talk about this interesting and peculiar film, and as I mentioned in the introduction of this review, I am not at all accustomed to consume movies or all that visual material from India, that is to say I know for some videos and certain scenes of novels and other things that tend to have a somewhat exaggerated vision when it comes to highlight the action scenes or drama and personally it is not something that I like much the truth, I know that there will be people who will find it interesting or fun at best, but for me it does not reach that, now and although certainly in this film is present that compensates with other things of which I liked a lot, this film has its pros and cons from my point of view but really worth giving it a chance, let's start with the pros.

One of the things that I personally liked a lot is the choreography both in the dances and in the intense scenes of fights, fights which in many ways can become quite exaggerated and even somewhat laughable at some points, but really the choreography and dynamics when it comes to carry out moments of action and fights or disputes seemed to me quite good, especially when our protagonists are involved in creating them against others, with others and among themselves, I really liked the way this is handled, it was certainly something unusual because at several points when fighting was slightly exaggerated in several shots, but it does not take away the great effort and dedication of the actors to carry out this great work, another aspect that I liked was the use of the environment, the game of cameras in many shots and the impact of the extras when it comes to dance or want to show a particular situation through the song, it is a great detail that personally I thought it was very cool.

Another point that I found very interesting is that it is a highly entertaining film, it is a film that enjoys a simplicity in several points which in this aspect, it is something interesting although it has its slight disadvantages but I will talk about it in due course, so for this part there is a level of understanding that is not complicated in itself when it comes to understanding the plot or become familiar with the situation, in which we are shown a cruel and despotic tyranny and the long-term repercussions on people living in such a yoke. Regarding the cons or aspects that I did not like so much, I would like to start with the exaggerated use of computer animation in animals and some scenes somewhat exaggerated in slow motion, I'm not used to that and I feel that the implementation of this could have been improved when recreating animals in some scenes.

Another point that I didn't like so much even though I mentioned before that it's not a bad thing if you want to enjoy the action of this movie in terms of plot, is its simplicity but extrapolated in a not so good way to other characters, that is, you understand the background of our protagonists and what moves and drives them, but when it comes to presenting other characters I feel them a little simpler than usual and I find it hard to understand them a little better in a more personal way. Although some sequences can be laughable and exaggerated when it comes to fighting or combat, I'm not that bothered, I'm not used to it but it didn't bother me and I even found it interesting and respectable but mostly because of the level of choreography when fighting or showing other physical skills, although it is overshadowed considering how long the movie is, as it becomes very slow in some parts.

Now in relation to the plot, and from what I could investigate on my own before getting to see this film, is that it is based on the actions of two revolutionaries from India, which coincidentally never met in real life, but here the director takes the creative freedom so that in his film this changes and they can get to interact, or better yet be best friends, adding certainly outstanding or superhuman characteristics eh interesting. So we can get to see that the plot focuses on the lives of these two people, which in their own way will make a significant impute to others, before the barbarism and subjugation through which their country is going through, by the British.

I personally, and with all this I recommend this movie, but I warn you to take your precautions, as it has a duration of 3 hours, literally there are scenes somewhat dense and a little slow at some points, but it is compensated greatly with the interaction and participation of our two protagonists and how the plot unfolds based on them, despite the points I mentioned above that I did not like so much, I feel it is worth giving it a chance and get to enjoy this interesting, exaggerated, laughable and entertaining movie and even more enjoy it with the dance so characteristic that led them to win their Oscar for best dance and choreography dance which I will leave below, so as always thank you very much for getting here, and I hope you enjoyed the reading, without more to say until next time.

I saw it after the Oscar ceremony. It has all the elements of Indian cinema, I have seen other productions and just like this one, it has exaggerated action scenes, lots of slow motion, some Latin American telenovela style melodrama, songs and dance scenes. Of course, I enjoyed it, it is entertaining, it is one of the most expensive productions of that country and it has been very successful, having such a patriotic message.

avatar

yes, but despite having all those elements, it is certainly entertaining, and does not abuse so much in my opinion of those aspects that have so much weight in a drastic way, compared to other films of this country I do not know in my opinion.
