Superman: Red Son/ An interesting parallelism (2020) Review [Eng - Esp]

Yesterday morning, a friend of mine was kind enough to give me a link in which, in order of creation, appears most or if not all the animated movies of the DC universe to date, he gave me this information since I had told him days ago, that I wanted to vary the content I was watching, so he sent me and suggested me to give them a chance. I've seen until today at most 8 of those movies at random, I've only seen the ones that seem to me more striking for their synopsis, and the date of issue, personally I would like to see them all with time since there are 51 animated films in total, and if so far there are some that have given me a good impression and others that have been entertaining for a change.

So I am interested in giving you their respective review, to those films that I consider interesting enough to be able to share through this medium, I will not talk in detail about each and every one of them and I will not upload them here in order of release, I will simply comment on what I liked or seemed so striking, and the message that left me, fortunately I understand that these films themselves, do not have a chronological order in plot and each one presents a different narrative and completely alternate one from the other although I could be wrong would be a matter of seeing, so better way to start with this, that talking about one of the first films I saw, this time I will talk about Superman: Red Son.

El día de ayer en la mañana, un amigo tuvo la gentileza de pasarme un link en el cual, aparee por orden de creación gran parte o si no todas las películas animadas del universo de DC hasta la fecha, el me paso esta información ya que le había comentado días atrás, que quería variar con el contenido que estaba viendo, así que me mando y propuso que les diera una oportunidad. Eh visto hasta el día de hoy a lo mucho 8 de esas películas al azar, solo eh visto las que me parecen más llamativas por su sinopsis, y por la fecha de su emisión, en lo personal me gustaría vérmelas todas con tiempo ya que son 51 películas animadas en total, y si hasta ahora hay algunas que me han dado una buena impresión y otras que han sido entretenidas para variar.

Así que estoy interesado en darles su respectiva reseña, a aquellas películas que considere lo suficientemente interesantes como para poder compartir por este medio, no hablare de forma detallada de todas y cada una de ellas y tampoco las subiré aquí en orden de salida, simplemente comentare lo que me gusto o pareció tan llamativo, y el mensaje que me dejo, afortunadamente tengo entendido que estas películas en sí, no tienen un orden cronología en trama y cada una presente una narrativa diferente y completamente alterna una de las otras aunque puedo estar equivocado seria cuestión de ver, así que mejor forma de empezar con esto, que hablándoles de una de las primeras películas que vi, esta vez hablare de Superman: Red Son.

Superman: Red Son, is considered to be an American animated film, based on the comic book of the same name and focusing on Superman as a character. The film is based on a 2003 comic book miniseries, written by Mark Millar and drawn in pencil by Dave Johnson, Andrew Robinson, Walden Wong and Killien Plunket.

The film was released on February 25, 2020, with production by Warner Bros. Animation, and direction by Sam Liu, with a running time of 84 minutes.

Superman: Red Son, viene siendo considerada como una película de animación estadounidense, basada en el comic que lleva su mismo nombre y centrándose en Superman como personaje. La película esta basada en una miniserie de comics del 2003, escritas por Mark Millar y dibujada a lápiz por Dave Johnson, Andrew Robinson, Walden Wong y Killien Plunket.

La película fue lanzada el 25 de febrero del 2020, y teniendo la producción por parte de la compañía Warner Bros Animation, y la dirección de Sam Liu, teniendo una duración de 84 minutos.

The plot develops in an alternative line, in which we are transported to the period of 1946 in Russia (Soviet Union) coming to show the growth of a young Superman, which takes the initiative at a young age and under the influence of his childhood friend to lend his powers to the state, this decision will take a significant impact throughout his life, and especially of others, which will make the plot escalates in an interesting way.

La trama se desarrolla en una línea alternativa, en la cual se nos transporta al periodo de 1946 en Rusia (unión soviética) llegándonos a mostrar el crecimiento de un joven Superman, el cual toma la iniciativa en una corta edad y por influencia de su amiga de la infancia de prestar sus poderes al estado, esta decisión tomara una repercusión significativa a lo largo de su vida, y sobre todo de los demás, lo que hará que la trama escale de forma interesante.

One of the aspects that I liked quite a lot of all the movies I've seen so far, is its variety in the narrative of the plot and the situation through which the characters go through or develop, in this case making much more weight to the heroes, villains or ordinary people who happen to be important for both sides (although much more for the heroes) coming to show a variety of alternatives more than interesting, and since most of these movies, if not all, are referenced from some comics that address the situation that is reflected in the animation even more so, in the case of this film is no exception, as it really shows us a growth and development more than interesting by Superman our man of steel.

As you may already know Superman or Clark Kent or Kal-el if we take his name as Kryptonian, came to earth when he was a baby and fell on a farm in a town from the United States called small town, and had the tutelage of two kind farmers, however what would happen if this story is modified, and we are shown a different version of his arrival, upbringing and time and it is here in the film where that happens, coming to show us a young Superman who grew up and grew up, in the completely Stalinist Russia in the period of Stalin's rule, a very interesting vision in which we are shown what can become an individual with such power and above all such a vision of life in a nation submerged before strongly oppressive ideals disguised with a greater welfare through the unity in the state, but with a different approach coming from the same line of political thought.

Another of the elements that I liked the most in this film is the growth and development of Superman as president, visionary and with his enormous abilities in a completely different time, and with many social pressures in various parts of both his country and the United States for his imminent power. To see through the characteristic and kind vision that represents the character, with the desire to protect and do good, taking him to the point of making questionable and quite dangerous decisions, with the result of obtaining a greater good before his ideals fed with his overprotective mentality, an interesting parallelism in which it is seen that no matter how many good intentions you have, they will not always be the best, even repeating the same mistakes that a regime of that caliber, which at the time came to present in some points.

In this film, there are also characteristic and known characters of the Justice League, such as Wonder Woman and Batman and other figures like Lex Luthor, the interesting thing about these people as well as in the case of Superman, is the scenario in which they develop after everything that happens, see such character outside of what we usually know and represent, for their intentions or achievements, making different decisions to the common, before what we already knew about them, really makes it very interesting but certainly without making them lose their essence or nature. I really liked this movie a lot, to see this alternate history was very interesting, as well as the others that I saw of which I will talk about in due time, having a more than acceptable animation with fluid and interesting fights and a narrative and background more than enjoyable, as always thanks for coming here and without more to say until the next one.

Uno de los aspectos que me gusto bastante de todas las películas que eh visto hasta ahora, es su variedad en la narrativa de la trama y la situación por la cual atraviesan o se desenvuelven los personajes, en este caso haciendo mucho más peso a los héroes, villanos o personas comunes que resultan ser importante para ambos bandos (aunque mucho mas para los héroes) llegando a mostrar una variedad de alternativas más que interesantes, y ya que gran parte de esas películas si no todas, están referenciadas de algunos comics que aborda la situación que se refleja en si en la animación con mas razón aun, en el caso de esta película no es una excepción, ya que realmente se nos muestra un crecimiento y desenvolvimiento más que interesante por parte de Superman nuestro hombre de acero.

Como ya se sabrá Superman o ClarK Kent o Kal-el si tomamos su nombre como kriptoniano, vino a la tierra cuando era un bebe y cayó en una granja en un pueblo proveniente de estados unidos llamado villa chica, y tuvo la tutela de dos amables granjeros, sin embargo que pasaría si esta historia se modificara, y se nos muestra una versión diferente de su llegada, crianza y tiempo y es aquí en el film donde ocurre eso, llegándonos a mostrar un joven Superman que se crio y creció, en la Rusia completamente Estalinista en el periodo de mandato de Stalin, una visión bastante interesante en el cual se nos muestra lo que puede llegar a ser un individuo con tal poder y sobre todo tal visión de vida en una nación sumergida ante ideales fuertemente opresores disfrazado con un bienestar mayor a través de la unidad en el estado, pero con un enfoque diferente proveniente de la misma línea de pensamiento político.

Otro de los elementos que más me gusto de esta película es el crecimiento y desenvolvimiento de Superman como presidente, visionario y con sus habilidades descomunales en un tiempo completamente diferente, y con muchas presiones sociales en diversos puntos tanto de su país como de Estados Unidos por su inminente poder. Ver a través de la visión tan característica y amable que representa al personaje, con el afán de proteger y hacer el bien, llevándolo al punto de tomar decisiones cuestionables y bastante peligrosas, con el resultado de obtener un bien mayor ante sus ideales alimentados con su mentalidad tan sobreprotectora, un paralelismo interesante en el cual se ve de por medio que por muchas intensiones buenas que se tengan, no siempre serán las mejores, llegando a repetir inclusive los mismos errores que un régimen de ese calibre, el cual en su momento llego a presentar en algunos puntos.

En dicho film, también salen personajes característicos y conocidos de la liga de la justicia, como lo es la mujer maravilla y Batman y otras figuras como Lex Luthor, lo interesante de estos personas así como en el caso superman, es el escenario en el cual estos se desenvuelven tras todo lo que ocurre, ver tales personaje fuera de lo que habitualmente conocemos y representan, por sus intensiones o logros, tomando decisiones diferentes a lo común, ante lo que ya conocíamos de ellos, realmente lo hace muy interesante pero ciertamente sin hacerles perder su esencia o naturaleza. Realmente esta película me gusto mucho, ver esta historia alterna fue muy interesante, así como las otras que vi de las cuales ya hablare en su momento llegando a contar con una animación mas que aceptable con peleas fluidas e interesantes y una narrativa y trasfondo más que disfrutables, como siempre gracias por llegar hasta aquí y sin mas que decir hasta la próxima.
