Code 8 Part II promises a visually stunning experience with improved CGI compared to its predecessor. However, the film falls short in terms of its storytelling and script, leaving much to be desired.

While the CGI enhancements are noticeable and add to the spectacle of the film, unfortunately, they can't compensate for the lackluster script. The storyline feels forced and riddled with clichés, making it difficult to fully invest in the characters and their journey.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the film is its portrayal of the characters and their decision-making. The protagonist, Connor, comes across as inexplicably dense, making unrealistic choices that strain credibility. This lack of depth in character development hampers the overall enjoyment of the movie.

Additionally, the plotline feels disjointed, jumping between different subplots without fully exploring any of them. This leaves the audience feeling disconnected and unable to fully engage with the narrative.

Despite these shortcomings, the film does have its redeeming qualities. The action sequences are well-executed and visually captivating, providing some much-needed excitement amidst the lackluster storytelling.

Overall, while Code 8 Part II may boast impressive CGI, it ultimately fails to deliver a compelling and coherent story. Watching this movie you may find yourselves disappointed by the film's reliance on clichés and its inability to fully explore its potential.


Now, the big question: would I recommend it? Probably not, unless you can't find anything else to watch. It's not horrible, but it's still not good. I would probably rate it 4/10.
