G-20
When the G20 summit is under siege, U.S. President Danielle Sutton becomes the number one target. After escaping capture by the attackers, she must overcome the enemy to protect her family, defend her country, and safeguard global leaders in this action-packed thrill ride. Clearly a streaming movie that had no aspirations for anything more… nor could it!

Viola Davis. For me, she’s an incredible actress, and whatever role she plays, she stands out.
It gets a bit more interesting from the second half onward.
If you’re a fan of the genre, you might actually enjoy it 😅😅.
🔴🔴🔴🔴
Such a predictable and weak script. Full of clichés and exaggerations — you could even call it sloppy writing, not to say a quick cash grab.
Anthony Starr gives a poor performance here.
Basic direction.
The final scene on the helipad is just plain laughable.
Poorly done CGI.
The action scenes are rather dull.
The villains are borderline cartoonish.
Just the Two of Us
When Blanche meets Grégoire, she thinks she’s found the ideal partner. The bond between them grows quickly, and a passionate relationship follows, leading to them moving in together. For Blanche, far from her family and her twin sister, a new life begins. But little by little, she finds herself trapped in the hands of a deeply possessive and dangerous man. Is it worth watching?

It’s quite well-crafted and solid.
Patriarchal violence is at the core of the film.
At times, it feels claustrophobic like a thriller.
The psychological profile of the abuser is portrayed effectively.
Virginie Efira and Melvil Poupaud are excellent in their demanding roles.
The psychological aspect is the film’s strongest element.

Quite predictable.
It doesn’t take the risks that could have made it stand out as a film.
The ending felt a bit ambiguous to me.
The twin sister element didn’t really work for me within the film.
The ending is revealed from the beginning, which kind of “burns” the whole story — a type of storytelling that may bother some viewers as it removes the element of surprise.
