Working Man

Levon Cade left behind a successful career in Special Forces covert operations to live a simple life working in construction. But when his boss’s daughter becomes a victim of trafficking, his mission to bring her back uncovers a world of corruption far greater than he could ever have imagined.
Do you like Jason Statham? Well, that’s exactly what you’ll get.

🟢🟢🟢🟢

  • Statham is Statham — you know what you're in for: fists flying and pure Statham.

  • If you know what to expect, you’ll enjoy it. It’s a fun action film.

  • Plenty of action.
    🔴🔴🔴🔴

  • The plot is bare-bones, just enough to serve the fight scenes. You won’t invest in the characters.

  • No real character development.

  • The editing has issues.

  • No sense of realism — not that it’s a problem, the film has its over-the-top moments and is very clear about what it wants to be.

Havoc

The story follows Walker (Tom Hardy), a tough detective who is seriously injured during a failed operation. When the son of a powerful politician disappears into the depths of the criminal underworld, Walker embarks on a solitary mission to find him, diving deep into a dark and violent world of gangs. As he digs further, he uncovers an extensive network of corruption reaching the highest levels of power. A bloody action ride that fans of Tom Hardy will enjoy — just don’t expect anything more.

🟢🟢🟢🟢

  • I think Tom Hardy is the best part of the film. I like him as an actor in general.
  • There’s plenty of action — raw and brutal.
  • Some nice panoramic shots.
  • If you like underworld-themed movies, you might enjoy this one.
  • Although the city where the story unfolds isn’t heavily emphasized, the nighttime shots are really good.
  • The nightclub fight scene is worth the price of admission.

🔴🔴🔴🔴

  • The fight scenes aren't very well choreographed.
  • Some action scenes are over-the-top and heavily stylized.
  • Predictable plot clichés — the kind you'd expect from this type of film, and overall a rehashed story that doesn’t bring anything new.
  • The ending is exactly what you’d expect.
  • Some CGI effects look sloppy and are noticeable even to a less experienced viewer.

A Working Man is on my list, I even downloaded it to see in leisure, when the boy went for is exam, but still could not see it. I am a fan of Statham, unfortunately he is not doing a lot of movies. Havoc I watched, felt OK with lot of violence. Tom Hardy did nice in Venom sequels.
