Warfare

Warfare plunges the audience into a squad of American Navy SEALs inside an Iraqi family’s home, following the movements of U.S. forces through insurgent territory. A visceral, realistic story of modern war, told like never before: in real time and based on the memories of those who lived it. A must-see for me…

🟢🟢🟢🟢

  • It has a raw realism that grips you, a truthful depiction of the hellish experience of battle.

  • The entire cast delivers very strong performances.

  • Outstanding sound design.

  • I really liked the direction — it manages to immerse the viewer in the film and make them feel just as trapped as the protagonists.

  • If you’re a fan of war films, I think you’ll enjoy it.

  • It has no soundtrack at all, and yet it’s incredibly powerful.

  • Excellent editing and pacing (in my opinion).

  • It conveys the fear and truth of war. It doesn’t explain much — it just throws you straight into the heart of the action.

🔴🔴🔴🔴

  • Although we focus on the soldiers, we rarely see the enemy or any Iraqi civilians. They could have had a stronger presence.

  • I get the feeling this isn’t a film for a mainstream audience. But I was impressed.

Wrong Turn

The American director Rob Schmidt tells the story of a group of young people who fall into the hands of three deformed mountain men who kill and dismember their victims. That simple. 😅

A clear B-movie from 2003, not aiming for much, which I recently watched again — and surprisingly, it still held my attention.
Yes, it's full of clichés and genre exaggerations, yes, the acting isn’t anything special, yes, overall it’s a bad movie — but for some strange reason, it keeps you watching… at least it did for me.
And I don’t think you’re expecting any kind of plot, right? 😅🤣

It has one or two good death scenes, a scattered atmosphere that manages to make you jump through some well-placed sound-based scares.
As for the sequels that followed — they’re laughable.
But if you’re looking for a simple slasher horror flick, it does the job.
