Watch One Of This Tonight Or Not
NONNAS
After the loss of his beloved mother, a man makes a risky but heartfelt decision to honor her by opening an Italian restaurant. What makes this venture unique is his choice of chefs: authentic Italian grandmothers (nonnas), who bring traditional recipes and the warmth of Italian family life to the kitchen—creating unpredictable and comedic situations. Is Netflix’s new movie worth it?
🟢🟢🟢🟢
The grandmothers are the best part of the movie—Italian, delightful, and funny.
It’s a feel-good streaming film that makes for an enjoyable watch—perfectly decent overall.
Don’t watch it on an empty stomach—it will make you hungry 😜
It manages to blend sensitivity with humor effectively.
Family, tradition, and love are at the heart of the movie's theme.
🔴🔴🔴🔴
As charming as the grandmothers are, some of their scenes feel overly staged—almost fake 🤷♂️
Personally, Vince Vaughn still hasn’t convinced me he’s a good actor—he’s just okay here, nothing more 😅
It contains some predictable genre clichés, though they don’t really get in the way.
It doesn’t offer anything new to really stand out from the crowd.
FEAR STREET PROM QUEEN
Welcome to Shadyside. In this next chapter of the blood-soaked Fear Street franchise, as the Shadyside High prom approaches, the school’s it-girl clique is busy—like always—running their sweet and savage campaigns to claim the crown. But when a bold outsider joins the competition and the other girls begin to mysteriously disappear, the class of ’88 suddenly finds itself in a prom night straight out of hell. Is it worth watching? Probably not!!
🟢🟢🟢🟢
Nice pop culture references from the 80s.
The little twist at the end was decent.
The lead actress gave it a shot, though her performance was overly melodramatic at times.
If you're a fan of 80s music, the soundtrack is solid.
Some of the gore scenes were quite good.
🔴🔴🔴🔴
Most of the acting is below average.
You can’t really call it scary.
The killer reveal was laughable.
It had a general campiness—even the body language was over-the-top. Not sure if it was intentional, but it didn’t work for me.
The script feels childish.
Predictable and boring for the most part.
Direction is very basic.
Zero character investment—just bodies to fill time and die, with no real development.
No connection whatsoever to the original trilogy, apart from the title.
