RE: MOVIE REVIEW: “The Odyssey” (2026)

Being a biased fan of Christropher Nolan, I too think that movie was hasty. Many scenes - especially island parts and the ending - needed some more time. Like when I was watching it, I wished it to be a tv series rather than a movie.
I was not too impressed with Holland either.
Literal same thoughts. Tom Holland, through out the movie, felt like an emotionless child. Just because of him, I ought to read the novel. Maybe his character is supposed to be this way.
Moreover, Anne Hathway, though I am a fan of her since Dark Knight rises. But man, she nailed her role. First, she ages like a fine wine. Secondly, her acting is top-class. The moments with Tom Holland during "the throne" talks, and in the ending part, when Odeysseus throughs the arrow, and she gives a little smirk. It was raw and natural.
