ENGLISH CONTENT

Hello all the lovers of the cinema! I am a little selective when it comes to watching movies, since not all end up turning from my favorites or at least, they generate the desire to see them repeatedly. But, from time to time I find myself with what I like to call “raw diamonds”, which are usually movies with a plot that seems incredible, but however, they go unnoticed by the rest and are left in oblivion. In the case of Number 9, as soon as I saw it, I was fascinated.

The plot offers us an apocalyptic post scenario, where the protagonist is 9, a kind of rag doll with life that awakens in a room in whose soil, is an older, deceased man. It also finds a strange piece with some symbols and decides to take it with you, keeping it after opening a close on your chest. 9 Does not understand that he does there, or who is, so he decides to go out to investigate. In its journey, observe the destruction as a step, which makes it awaken more doubts about that world. There are no traces of any human humans, plus the destroyed buildings and the rest of debris, they imply that there was something that ended with them. Outside you find 2, another creature like him who is happy to have found it. 2 It’s good to make things and realizing that 9 can not talk, helps him by placing him the sound mechanism of an abandoned doll, being able to be able to mention his first word “friend”.

2 Look at the part that extracted from the inside of 9 to place the sound mechanism and tell you that you have already seen those symbols before, it also informs you that there are other beings like them. But unexpectedly, they are attacked by a species of mechanoid animal. 2 Faces the machine while 9, it is hidden. The machine insists on wanting to capture them and when they realice the location of 9, try to get it out of their hiding place. When trying to help him, 2 is captured by the machine, leaving 9 injured and inconsistent.

When you wake up, 9 will be alarmed by realizing that someone is intervening your body. Then he calms himself to see that he is being attended to his wound for another creature / doll just like he, who has the number 5 on the back. Before his kindness, 9 talks about his encounter with 2 and what happened to him. Upon knowledge, 5 cares, since he has a great appreciation at 2. 9 he tells him that we have to go rescue him, but the other despite knowing that his friend is in trouble, he doubts, knowing in advance about the dangers that lurk abroad.

In full conversation, two more creatures enter the room, a high and fortachon with the muerte 8 and a smaller one with the number 1, who act as the leader of all those who are in that shelter. 1 is of stubborn temperament and despite the fact that 9 is told what happened with 2, the leader insists that there is nothing that can be done, even forcing others to obey it, because their decisions are for survival. 9 However, it does not agree, much less when discovering a little more about the world in that shelter and its inhabitants, above all, what happened with humans.

After a series of events, 9 insists on convincing 5 of going to rescue 2, making sure that 2 would have gone for them. With this, it manages to convince 5 and together they come out of the shelter against the rules. The dangers are around the corner and mysteries around the machines, human lumens, themselves and that strange piece with symbols, will be finally revealed.

The film is full of action and suspense, with rag creatures constantly besieged by the machines that seem to have taken care of everything in its path. The somber look, the level of details and the plot, keeps you trapped, wishing to know more about the origin of those strange creatures and the world that surrounds them. These types of stories, stormy and unpredictable, are from my favorites, since it is one of those films that you can see several times without getting bored and more because you have the desire to find something new in which you have not noticed before. I hardly recommend the film and more if you are a fan of Tim Burton’s productions, although it is a pity that is not very valued.

¡Hola a todos los amantes del cine! Soy un poco selectiva a la hora de ver películas, ya que no todas terminan volviéndose de mis favoritas o por lo menos, me generan el deseo de verlas repetidamente. Pero, de vez en cuando me encuentro con lo que me gusta llamar "diamantes en bruto", que por lo general son películas con una trama que me parece increíble, más sin embargo, pasan desapercibidas por el resto y quedan en el olvido. En el caso de Número 9, en cuanto la vi, quedé fascinada.

La trama nos ofrece un escenario post apocalíptico, en donde el protagonista es 9, una especie de muñeco de trapo con vida que despierta en una habitación en cuyo suelo, se encuentra un hombre mayor, fallecido. También encuentra una pieza extraña con unos símbolos y decide llevarsela consigo, guardándola luego de abrir un cierre que hay en su pecho. 9 no comprende que hace allí, ni quien es, así que decide salir a investigar. En su recorrido, observa la destrucción a su paso, lo cual hace que se despierten más dudas acerca de ese mundo. No hay rastros de humanos alguno, más los edificios destruidos y el resto de escombros, dan a entender que hubo algo que acabó con ellos. Afuera se encuentra con 2, otra criatura como él que se alegra de habérselo encontrado. 2 es bueno para fabricar cosas y al darse cuenta de que 9 no puede hablar, lo ayuda colocándole el mecanismo de sonido de una muñeca abandonada, pudiendo ser capaz de mencionar su primera palabra "Amigo".

2 observa la pieza que extrajo del interior de 9 para colocar el mecanismo de sonido y le comenta que ya ha visto esos símbolos antes, también le informa que hay otros seres como ellos. Pero inesperadamente, son atacados por una especie de animal mecanoide. 2 se enfrenta a la máquina mientras que 9, se oculta. La máquina insiste en querer capturarlos y al darse cuenta de la ubicación de 9, intenta sacarlo de su escondite. Al tratar de ayudarlo, 2 es capturado por la máquina, quedando 9 herido e inconsiente.

Al despertar, 9 se alarma al darse cuenta de que alguien está interviniendo su cuerpo. Luego se tranquiliza al ver que está siendo atendido de su herida por otra criatura/muñeco igual que él, que tiene el número 5 en la espalda. Ante su amabilidad, 9 le habla sobre su encuentro con 2 y lo que le sucedió. Al saberlo, 5 se preocupa, ya que le tiene un gran aprecio a 2. 9 le dice que hay que ir a rescatarlo, ya pero el otro a pesar de saber que su amigo está en problemas, duda, sabiendo de antemano sobre los peligros que acechan en el exterior.

En plena conversación entran a la habitación dos criaturas más, uno alto y fortachón con el múmero 8 y otra más pequeña con el número 1, quien actua como el líder de todos los que se encuentran en ese refugio. 1 es de temperamento obstinado y a pesar de que 9 le comenta lo sucedido con 2, el líder insiste en que no hay nada que se pueda hacer, incluso obligando a los demás a obedecerlo, pues sus decisiones, son por la supervivencia. 9 sin embargo, no está de acuerdo, mucho menos al ir descubriendo un poco más del mundo en aquel refugio y sus habitantes, sobre todo, lo ocurrido con los humanos.

Después de una serie de sucesos, 9 insiste en convencer a 5 de ir a rescatar a 2, asegurándole que 2 hubiera ido por ellos. Con ello, logra convencer a 5 y juntos salen ocultos del refugio en contra de las reglas. Los peligros están a la vuelta de la esquina y los misterios en torno a las máquinas, luos humanos, ellos mismos y aquella pieza extraña con símbolos, serán finalmentee revelados.

El filme está lleno de acción y suspenso, siendo las criaturas de trapo constantemente asediadas por las máquinas que parecen haberse adueñado de todo a su paso. El aspecto sombrío, el nivel de detalles y la trama, te mantiene atrapado, deseando saber más sobre el origen de aquellas extrañas criaturas y el mundo que los rodea. Este tipo de historias, tormentosas e impredecibles, son de mis favoritas, ya que es de esas películas que puedes ver varias veces sin aburrirte y más porque tienes el deseo de encontrar alguna cosa nueva en la que no te hayas fijado con anterioridad . Recomiendo arduamente la película y más si eres fan de las producciones de Tim Burton, aunque es una lástima que sea poco valorada.
