(ENG/ESP) Black phone / El teléfono negro
Hello to all movie lovers! I'm not a fan of action, horror, or suspense movies, I consider myself a somewhat impressionable person and I don't like me because of strong scenes ha ha even so, that doesn't mean that I don't risk watching any movie of these genres, whether it's taken by recommendations or simply by mere chance. On a quiet afternoon with nothing to do, my sister invited me to see the movie Black phone, she wasn't sure if it was horror or suspense, but she had been told it wasn't very good... I can assure you that that is not true or at least, assert my position of not letting myself be carried away by the opinions of others and establish my criteria on a movie, only after having seen it.
The plot is set in the 80s/90s, in a place where strange disappearances of children have been occurring. The only thing that is known is that "El Raptor", the nickname given to the kidnapper, travels in a black van and every time he takes someone, black balloons appear. Even so, life in the town continues and the children go to school as normal. Finney is a peaceful boy who from time to time is harassed by some bullies, although he has the help of Robin, one of the rudest boys in the entire school, they are friends, even if he tells him to Finn that he won't be able to help him all the time and that one day he will have to fend for himself.
On the other hand Gwen, Finn's younger sister is a reckless girl who has precognitive dreams. This has caused her father to worry about her, since her deceased mother had those same abilities and because of them, she ended up losing her life, for which she demands that her daughter forget everything related to dreams. , especially when after dreaming that a boy disappeared, he himself was kidnapped, drawing the attention of the police regarding the information they might have about the case. However, despite her father's warnings, the girl will have to turn to her dreams when her brother ends up being the Raptor's next victim.
Despite the fact that I don't like suspense movies, since they stress me out, I must confess that I was on tenterhooks the whole time, I wasn't bored at all and my attention was kept on what was happening all the time. Something that bores me about current movies is that there is excessive padding, that is, too many scenes or alternate stories that add nothing to the main plot and that always end up boring me; in the black phone these scenes do not exist, which allows attention to be focused on the main character, who must figure out how to get out of his confinement before it is too late. Undoubtedly, I liked it a lot, because I am one of those who think that it is not necessary for a movie to have exaggerated visual effects to be considered good, so I recommend you watch it so that you can decide for yourself if it is good or not, since as we know, opinions are subjective hehe

¡Hola a todos los amantes del cine! No soy fanática de las películas de acción, terror, ni suspenso, me considero una persona algo impresionable y no me agrada alterarme por escenas fuertes ja ja aún así, eso no significa que no me arriesgue a ver alguna película de estos géneros, ya sea llevada por las recomendaciones o sencillamente por la mera casualidad. En una tarde tranquila sin nada que hacer, mi hermana me invitó a ver la película El teléfono negro, no sabía bien si era de terror o suspenso, pero le habían dicho que no era muy buena... puedo asegurar que eso no es cierto o por lo menos, aseverar mi posicion de no dejarme llevar por las opiniones de los demás y establecer mi criterio sobre una película, sólo después de haberla visto.
La trama está ambientada en los años 80/90, en un lugar en el cual han estado ocurriendo extrañas desapariciones de niños. Lo único que se sabe es que "El Raptor", apodo que le han dado al raptor, se moviliza en una camioneta negra y cada vez que se lleva a alguien, aparecen globos negros. Aún así, la vida en el pueblo continua y los niños van a la escuela con normalidad. Finney es un chico pacífico que de vez en cuando es asediado por algunos matones, aunque cuenta con la ayuda de Robin, uno de los chicos más rudos de toda la escuela, ellos son amigos, aunque le diga a Finn que no podrá ayudarlo todo el tiempo y que un día tendrá que defenderse solo.
Por otro lado Gwen, la hermana menor de Finn es una chica temeraria que tiene sueños premonitorios. Esto ha provocado que su padre se preocupe por ella, dado que su madre fallecida, tuvo esas mismas habilidades y debido a ellas, acabó perdiendo la vida, por lo que le exige a su hija, que se olvide de todo lo referente a los sueños, sobretodo cuando luego de soñar que un chico desaparecía, el mismo fue raptado, llamando la atención de la policía con referente a la información que pudiera tener sobre el caso. Sin embargo, a pesar de las advertencias de su padre, la niña tendrá que recurrir a sus sueños cuando su hermano acaba siendo la siguiente victima del Raptor.
A pesar de que no me gusten las películas de suspenso, ya que me estresan, debo confesar que estuve todo el tiempo en ascuas, no me aburrí para nada y mi atención se mantuvo todo el tiempo en lo que estaba sucediendo. Algo que me aburre de las películas actuales, es que hay excesivo relleno, es decir, demasiadas escenas o historias alternas que no aportan nada a la trama principal y que siempre acaban por aburrirme; en el teléfono negro estas escenas no existen, lo que permite que la atención se centre en el personaje principal, quien debe resolver la forma de salir de su encierro antes de que sea demasiado tarde. Sin lugar a dudas, me gustó bastante, pues soy de los que piensan que no es necesario que una película tenga exagerados efectos visuales para ser considerada buena, así que les recomiendo verla para que ustedes mismos decidan si es buena o no, ya que como sabemos, las opiniones son subjetivas je je
