(ENG/ESP) Seeing the movie “To kill a Mockingbird” / Viendo la película "Matar a un ruiseñor"
Hello to all the lovers of cinema. Until recently I had the opportunity to see this film, which is based on a book of the same name. I really like the films of years ago, where no special effects did not matter, nor the exaggerated scenes of action, but to tell a story.
The plot focuses on the family composed by a widowed father and his two children. Atticus Finch is a fair lawyer, who believes in justice and defend noble causes. That has led him to earn a respect for some and the hatred of others. In his search to do the right thing, Atticus accepts jobs that other lawyers would not accept, without thinking about the money or the color of his represented. He is a straight man who wants to do good and above all, give a good example to his two children.
Scout and Jem, are the children of Atticus, a girl and a child with the imagination awake. They spend their days imagining adventures and attentive to the details of their father’s cases, who respect and admire. One of his interests is to investigate about one of his neighbors, which they know how Boo, a mysterious character whose parents keep locked up and away from all. This generates intrigue in children, who see Boo as a creature that only goes at night and has a strange behavior, challenging each other to see who is able to approach the house where that strange subject.
On The Other Hand, Atticus Accepts The Work of Defending A Man of Color That Has Been Accused Of Violation A Woman Named Mayela. Faced with All The Evidence Obtained, The Lawyer Is Sure That His Client Is Innocent. More in a society mayre abound and skin color is more important than morrality, the defense of atticus is encounded with serious difficulties, specially by the inhabitants of the peo With His Attitude of Not Being Treaty, The Lawyer Earns The Respect of Many People of Color That For Years Have Been Treated AS Marginalized, Save Being Working And Innocent People.
Scout and Jem, they will follow very closely the noble work of his father, while the mystery of what happens in that house and he continues to occupy his minds. Without imagining that the danger will stalk them too.
I think it is an incredible film, set at a time where classism and racism were stronger than truth and justice, even so, the determination and courage of atticus character to stay firm before their convictions, be much stronger than their reputation This kind of characters, are the ones that we could catalog from “heroes”, possess their strengths and like all, their weaknesses, but they are always faithful to their principles. In the current times, where another type of behaviors were praised, it is difficult to find entire people and even, this type of characters makes you feel a kind of longing, towards something that seems only possible in book stories.

Hola a todos los amantes del cine. Hasta hace poco fue que tuve la oportunidad de ver éste filme, el cual está basado en un libro del mismo nombre. Me gustan mucho las películas de hace años, donde no importaban los efectos especiales, ni las exageradas escenas de acción, sino relatar una historia.
La trama se centra en la familia compuesta por un padre viudo y sus dos hijos. Atticus Finch es un abogado justo, que cree en la justicia y en defender las causas nobles. Eso lo ha llevado ha ganarse el respeto de algunos y el odio de otros. En su búsqueda de hacer lo correcto, Atticus acepta trabajos que otros abogados no aceptarían, sin pensar en el dinero o en el color de su representado. Es un hombre recto que quiere hacer el bien y sobretodo, darle un buen ejemplo a sus dos hijos.
Scout y Jem, son los hijos de Atticus, una niña y un niño con la imaginación despierta. Pasan sus días imaginando aventuras y atentos a los pormenores de los casos de su padre, a quienes respetan y admiran. Uno de sus intereses es indagar acerca de uno de sus vecinos,al cual conocen como Boo, un personaje misterioso cuyos padres mantienen encerrado y alejado de todos. Esto genera intriga en los niños, quienes ven a Boo como una criatura que sólo sale en las noches y tiene un comportamiento extraño, retándose entre ellos por ver quién es capaz de acercarse a la casa en donde mora aquel extraño sujeto.
Por otro lado, Atticus acepta el trabajo de defender a un hombre de color que ha sido acusado de violar a una mujer de nombre Mayela. Ante todas las pruebas obtenidas, el abogado está seguro de que su cliente es inocente. Más en una sociedad en donde las injusticias abundan y el color de piel es más importante que la moralidad, la defensa de Atticus se encuentra con serias dificultades, sobretodo por los habitantes del pueblo, quienes no comprenden que el abogado haya aceptado el trabajo de defender a alguien de color. Pero Atticus, fiel a sus principios, se mantiene imponente, demostrándole en todo momento a sus hijos que deben siempre seguir el camino correcto. Con su actitud de no dejarse amedrentar, el abogado se gana el respeto de muchas personas de color que durante años han sido tratadas como marginadas, a pesar de ser personas trabajadoras e inocentes.
Scout y Jem, seguirán muy de cerca el noble trabajo de su padre, al tiempo que el misterio de lo que sucede en aquella casa y el , sigue ocupando sus mentes. Sin imaginarse que el peligro los acechará a ellos también.
Pienso que es una película increíble, ambientada en una época en donde el clasismo y el racismo eran más fuertes que la verdad y la justicia, aún así, la determinación y el coraje del personaje de Atticus de mantenerse firme ante sus convicciones, sea mucho más fuerte que su reputación y muchas veces, que su propia seguridad. Esta clase de personajes, son los que podríamos catalogar de "héroes", poseen sus fortalezas y como todos, sus debilidades, pero siempre son fieles a sus principios. En los tiempos actuales, en donde se alaba otro tipo de comportamientos, es dificil encontrar personas íntegras e incluso, éste tipo de personajes hace que sientas una especie de añoranza, hacia algo que parece sólo posible en historias de libros.
