A Mothers Love would always out weigh any circumstance, well to what extent I don't have a kid yet so I might not know the extent a mother's sacrifice should go for.

So I have seen the movie before now and it's the first film that had me shedding tears, why I asked?

So let's do this!
A mother and her son all alone in this world , when she found support and hope getting married to another man, but all the luxury they had to enjoy came with the pain of living at the mercy of the woman's new husband.
The movie was produced by one of my favourite actors in Nigeria Bimbo Ademoye.

So mother and son have basic needs like food, shelter , and basic needs.
But the husband seems to be a tyrant always flogging his step son at every misstep.
One time he flogged the child for breaking a bottle of drink in the fridge , when he went to get water.

Another time for coming back from school late, the wife cannot protest as all she can do is just simply manage the situation.
The husband got a job and they moved to the city of Lagos.
New Neighbourhood , new environments.
The torture has reduced since he got busy almost all the time and was not always home, but even when his home he isn't missed.

One of the days he came back from work and asked the step son to iron his shirt the boy burnt it and was flogged, so much afterwards the father burnt him with the iron. It was a lot of crying and then neighbours came by to rescue him from the father.

After the incident the man stopped flogging and only used words , but not at hard as before.
There comes a neighbours child who is raised by a single mother , who works but keeps her under the guidance of a nanny.
Children can be such a nag , so she begged her mum to let her play with the new kid on the block, well they played the first day and she went home .

(The Young Girl's Mother)

(Begging her Mum to go play)

A few days later she was back to play with her new friend, and by accident the baseball knocked her on the chest she coughed up blood and dropped to the ground.
The young boy pulled her into his house and kept her in his room , hoping she'd wake up, but that didn't happen he didn't say Anything to anyone and the girl was declared missing for days.

The Neighbours suspected the boy's father and arrested him , but they couldn't keep him for long without evidence.
After a few days the mother in the midst of chaos decided to clean the house since she hadn't done so in a while, and then she'd asked that her son dressed to school, which he agured at first but later obeyed.
The mother found her neighbours dead child in her son's room.

waited for him to return and asked for an explanation.
Her heart broke she couldn't let her 12 years old go to Nigeria's Kirikiri (Kirikiri means Prison) , at a young age and instead took the blame and went to prison in his stead.
She handed him over to an elderly woman who lived in the estate and turned herself in for life sentence.
It was as though she wasn't meant to be happy.
The sadness in this film was just too much , I wondered when would the pain stop, couldn't mother and child just have a good life, but nope life played the upper card and destroyed them.
The character that stood out for me is the Mother played by our delectable Chioma Chukwuka Akpota

(Chioma Chukwuka Akpota as Endurance Mother to Ufoma)

(Here she turned herself in to the police)

she embodied the role and showed what a mother's sacrifice can do in a child's like.
But I felt the sacrifice was just too much, are there moments like this one in real life or they just played my emotions.
The movie ended with her going to prison and separating from her son.
