I don't even know where to begin with all this. If you're into conspiracy theories or conspiracy facts, this is a good one. Drugs As A Weapon Against Us, get's into the CIA's involvement in not only the drug trade but how in concert with the FBI used drugs to influence political groups and mess up activists.

Seriously good document on the CIA involvement in drugs.

It's a long standing theory that the government, especially the CIA are one of the biggest importers of drugs into our country. I have to admit, when I first heard of this, I thought it was ridiculous. The more I research, the more obvious it becomes! There is definitely something there. No, if, ands, or buts about it. The government is not only involved in the drug trade, they probably control it, all while locking up friends, family members, and loved ones for a sham war on drugs.

Regardless of how you feel about drugs, the drug trade affects us all. We've all had friends and family members affected in one way or another by drugs. At this point, I'd guess it's safe to assume almost everyone knows someone who has overdosed or passed due to drug abuse. If you haven't, consider yourself lucky and I'm genuinely happy for you! I've lost so many people I care about to drugs. To think the government could be complicit in this is almost unimaginable to most of us. Still, the more I research this topic, the more clear it becomes and undeniable. There is something going on.

So in Drugs as a Weapon Against Us, the documentary dives into how it was used to control the hippie movement of the 60s and 70s. What they were trying to accomplish. How they used drugs against activists and political groups like the Black Panthers, MLK, and others. It also dove into how they treated those that wouldn't participate or partake.

After they talk about the radical 60s and 70s and how they dealt with the so-called radicals. We start to dive into the music industry. Naturally, Joplin, Hendrix, and Morrison are all mentioned. It also gets into government ties with musicians, recording studios, Hollywood elites, and film companies. Another popular theory is how Hollywood is controlled by the CIA. This documentary does touch on that a bit. I was actually surprised to discover they own an entire film studio.

On a side note, seeing I've got my tinfoil hat on today. Another theory I have is the government is heavily involved in the internet porn industry and I think it's just a matter of time until there's an information dump on that theory. Not by me. I have no proof, just a hunch. Back in the early 2000s a lot of porn companies sprung up out of nowhere and completely dominated the industry. As I said, just a hunch, I'm not naming names, just saying, a lot of these companies seemed really fishy and literally rose up overnight. DYOR research on that, of if you were involved in the industry back then, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

I haven't put my tinfoil hat on in a long time. I will say, there was a lot of stuff here that I've heard rumors about but never seen any solid evidence that would sway me in one way or the other. This documentary just touched on so much. Some things I had heard about before watching, and other things I never knew about.

Besides Hendrix, Joplin, and Morrison, they also talk a little about modern music like Wu Tang, Courtney Love, Kurt Cobain, Tupac and more. Small spoiler here, but I had NO IDEA how deep Tupac's ties were to the Black Panther party of both old and new. Just wild!

Last year I wrote a post about Lysergic. It's the story about a girl and her boyfriend who were one of the biggest LSD manufacturers and suppliers in the United States around the beginning of 2000. They were using a decommissioned missile silo in Kansas as an LSD lab. I wrote then that there had to be government involvement and this documentary connected the dots there as well.

It also gets into bank money laundering operations. How many banks were founded with early drug proceeds from the heroin trade. Talks about the Bush's, the Russels, JP Morgan, Chase.

If you're into this type of subject matter, this was a really interesting documentary. It actually really pissed me off as I watched and thought about all the damage the drug war has caused in this country.

To steal a quote from Ron Paul, if they legalized heroin tomorrow, most normal people aren't going to go out and buy some. It's time to end the drug war. It's time to give freedom a chance. Freedom isn't always safe, and sometimes freedom means we make bad choices. Because we have the freedom to make those choices and frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Regardless, the drug war is an EPIC failure and it's time to end the charade. I'm convinced the drug trade is nothing more than a front to fund and put together black ops projects. DYOR and you'll probably come to the same conclusion. NOTHING GOOD comes from prohibition.

I know a couple of years into Afghanistan the streets here were flooded with Heroin. Definitely not a coincidence, and I even called it, the day they went in. Told everyone, you watch how much heroin ends up on the streets and that's exactly what happened.

Hi there,
You hit on something I have been thinking about the last few days (and before..) though not exactly the same...
It supplies an answer! 🤔

I was thinking....
I have been smoking 🌱 and other things since '67-'68..
I noticed something...
As weed is listed as a "mild psychedelic", I started thinking about this...
You know...
If you got old '68-'70 something weed it was! Old Columbian Gold, Acapulco Gold, any of it.
What you get today, only sedates you. Even the most expensive only gives you a sedated feeling of more intensity.
And so, I really began to wonder if someone/thing had not done something to manipulate the plant, knowing that at some point it would become legal...🤔

I do know...
There is a big difference!
Have an Amazing Thursday,
And Stay Safe!

I remember the Columbian Gold. I think it depends on the strains we smoke. I've had a similar experience though. I was thinking the same the other day. That I hadn't had anything since I started smoking again that was super intense.

I think Indicas chill and sedate, but I've had a couple Sativa's that really wowwed me. There is so much cross-breeding now and new strains are being bred. It's definitely not the same weed from the 70s.

Still, I sort of like the selection we have now also. At least being in a legal state, you can find some interesting stuff at the local dispensary.

That is a plus!
And no cop hassles!
I am in Texas, not a legal state...
But..
D-8 is.. (*some of that is interesting, believe it or not)
There is really no way to tell the difference! 😆😅😆
It would take a lab, a cop can't tell!

And nope...
It is not the same weed.
Indicas are really better for making hash than just smoking flower, but it's what we got and the variations do keep it interesting! 😉

Have an Amazing Sunday!
