Sometimes I just do wonder how some Nollywood movies are done, and this makes me think about what the director and the producer think about before they get on to the movie set and produce a movie because sometimes you watch a movie where it won't even meet your expectations from what you think the movie will be, and then after watching the movie, it feels like a waste of time. Then came this movie, which is titled
A Night with Mr. Daniels, which was directed by Great Val Edochie and some other actors like Daniel Etim Effiong, Detola Jones, Harriet Akinola, Perpetual Ukadike, Charles Born, and many others who made this movie a great one to watch.

This movie is a YouTube movie that I watched on a YouTube channel while I was trying to have some free time with myself. A Night With Mr. Daniels talks about Ibiere, who is a very bright lady but a struggling lady who was compelled into doing what was against her wish because she was trying to save her mother from blackmail by her boss. You know it's good to like money, but when you like or love it too much, then the problem sets in. Ibiere's mother's boss feels everything is all about money, and she feels she can do everything in her capacity with money, not knowing that the table can turn at any point.

Prince Tayo Daniels, who is the heir to his father's wealth and also the director of his father's company, needs a wife, and for him to get this wife
She must be a virgin. Nneka, on the other side, was forced to get married to Prince Daniels, but she wasn't a virgin, so she had to force Ibiere to lie with him because they have a little resemblance, and they felt the prince wouldn't know because he was tipsy. Now just a night agenda is about to turn back to Ibiere and Nneka, which then shows the identities of both, and then betrayal comes up.

Despite the movie being a 2025 movie, it's still worth watching. Because if it were some other random Nollywood movie, one would have been so tired to watch because you can say how the movie will end just by watching the first two scenes. But in this case it was a bit different. But on the contrary, it was still predictable but not as fast as it usually was. The cinematography is top-notch, and the cast acted so well, aside from some little flaws from some supporting actors, which is normal.

What I like.

  1. It's really entertaining.
  2. It's filled with lessons of different types.
  3. The movie tells me that no one should be underestimated at any point.

What I don't like.

  1. It was not really intense in terms of storyline
  2. It was predictable.
  3. Some actors were not really advanced actor.

Rating: I would rate this movie 4 out of 5 because of the lesson it teaches when you watch.

My overall overview of this movie is that no one can be underestimated, tables can turn at any point, and you should always treat people with respect and care. For those that love romantic movies and dramas filled with betrayal and heartbreak, this is for you, and I am sure you are going to love this. The movie is entertaining and amazing to watch regardless. You should give it a try and let's see what your views will be.
