Movie Review: Crash Landing on You (A Captivating Journey of Love, Intrigue, and Survival).

When talking about love, it really means a lot of things that we as humans do not understand, except for the one who created it. This movie is part of what I can call a real movie. When watching a movie, you expect it to take you into the message it is passing across and also be able to make you understand what the movie entails.

I happened to come across this movie amongst the list of movies I have on my system, and I decided to watch it yesterday. It is titled Crash Landing on You. This movie is a k-drama, though, and it's a Netflix seasonal movie. I just got the first season with about 16 episodes. Out of the 16 episodes, I have been able to watch 4 as of now.

About the movie
Son Ye-jin as Yoon Se-ri is a successful businesswoman who loves her job and loves to do stunts. She is a base of the South Korea and also has a father who is successful, but lost her mother from birth. In the process of doing the stunts she loves, she intended to fly into the sky with her parachute, but her PA advised her not to go because of the weather forecast for that day.

She ignored this and went on this journey with her co-workers until the heavy wind started and blew them away. In this process, the wind blew them to North Korea, which happens to be an enemy of South Korea. She fainted for the day but was not injured, but when she woke up, she met Ri Jeong-hyeok who is the captain of the army and also the son of the Director of the General Political Bureau.

This has always been a secret because no one knew about Ri Jeong-hyeok being the son of the Director of the General Political Bureau, and he made this anonymous so that no one would suspect he was trying to investigate the death of his brother. Ri Jeong-hyeok kept Yoon Se-ri in his apartment to save her from the issues of hatred and chaos happening within the two states, but along the way, he fell in love with her.

There are lots of expectations that this movie holds, what will become of these two lovers? Will they be able to carry on with the issues in the country? Will they break apart? Will it affect his job? Will se-ri go back home safely?? A lot of questions are in this movie that will make you interested in watching because one question leads to another while watching.
This movie was directed by Lee Jung-hyo and some others. The movie was released in the years 2019–2020 with a lot of graphics quality that attracted me first. Actually, I was thinking the movie was released this year, not knowing it's been a while, but trust me, it beats my imagination with the storyline. The movie talks about love, romance, hatred, death, deceit and many more things.

Some cast members in this movie are Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin, Seo Ji-hye, Kim Jung-hyunand many others. If I am to rate this movie, I will rate it 8/10 because the narration is just exceptional and outstanding. From the start of the movie to the end of each episode, you are fully engrossed, and you won't know when it has finished. You will want to watch more.

There are lots of places I love in the movie, from the love scene to the action part. But the one I loved most was when Yoon Se-ri had to make her way and run for her life in the military zone. She was not scared of the armed minefield that was planted around the area and was still running even when she knew she might end up dying. My mind was so far away, and I was scared. I thought she was going to die.

After all, the movie is a good one and very intriguing to watch. Both the comedy and the romance—everything is so lovely that I didn't know when I watched for 4 hours straight. I can easily recommend this movie to the k-drama lovers, and I'm sure you will like it. A friend was in my place and got engrossed with the movie too and could not go home because he wanted to see the end of the movie. It's a must-watch for movie lovers.
