Expressing My Love For Movies.

Movies have always had a way of keeping us company. I think my whole life had been centered around movies and how they shaped the way we think and relate to them.

Movies are a representation of our daily lives. Sometimes or most times should I say - they come with none stop life lesions and stories of immense adventures and wanderlust life. Even though these movies as well are mostly about encoded messages sent to the viewers to relate to and learn. What amazes me more is how movies are able to predict the future. Perhaps a pre planned future lol…

Movies have always influenced the ways of our lives and how we think. It’s a perfect mirror of what we portray as self reflection. These however also varies in the kind of movies we watch or how we understand them. Over times I realize many people watch movies for the drama, or for the romance or action… or by genre, though if we specifically watch these movies by this specific reasons we can only understand so little about the movie and what’s it’s trying to depict to us.

To fully understand a movie, watch it while portraying yourself in the shoes of every person in that movie which are the characters. Just as in our everyday lives, every person has a role to play and how they understand things or why they see things they way they do. But again, never judge a character by his actions. First understand why and how he chose to act the way he does. Still not justifying ill acts though haha…

In instances of the Joker as a character, after watching his side of story we will understand that he was never actually what he is. The world misunderstood him and made him bitter. And in a way, it still never justified his action. That’s why we had the Batman to be an entire opposite of him. To show us that no matter how bad the world is, good is always the light. And the end of the day Joker is only human likewise Batman is as well. But both characters made their decisions in life. If Batman wanted he could’ve also be a badman considering all he went through.

I love the movies. For how it steals aways so much of our time haha… for how it keeps us company when no one seem to be there. For how when everything seem dark, it gives us hope. For when it also gives us motivation to do things that matters the most and most importantly for how it never allowed love to fade.

Just as books, with movies you will understand and learn about the many cultures and ways of people outside your life. And even wander to destinations you’ve never been to. It exposes us to so much knowledge and ideas. Yet also comes with a lot of influence though and sometimes we have to be careful of how we perceive information or ideas or how we chose to adopt those ways.

As a kid, my mother had always been super protective of me as person who had lost two other children which made me her last surviving child. So all I had after school were the movies. I watched all kinds of movies, became a fan of the fantasy because it was out of the ordinary even as I never understood them then, but over time the movies came crystal clear. I love movies. And I think you do too. As a kid there’s no movies then that can come up that I hadn’t seen lol… until growing up happens where you have a dozen of other things to worry about that makes you skip movies. Lol…

Growing up is good but I hate that it took away my time for many but little movies to to watch. Feels like I’ve been left behind. Is there a way I can watch movies for a living and make money off it? Haha… These days it’s more likely that I struggle to keep balance. But one thing is sure, I never want to leave watching the movies.

My name is Aliey Abbas and I am glad to be here.
Tell me about your love for movies ;)
